신명기(Deu) 2장
7. 네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 하는 모든 일에 네게 복을 주시고 네가 이 큰 광야에 두루 다님을 알고 네 하나님 여호와께서 이 사십 년 동안을 너와 함께 하셨으므로 네게 부족함이 없었느니라 하시기로
7. The LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.
신명기(Deu) 2장 24절 너희는 일어나 행진하여 아르논 골짜기를 건너라 내가 헤스본 왕 아모리 사람 시혼과 그의 땅을 네 손에 넘겼은즉 이제 더불어 싸워서 그 땅을 차지하라
24. “Set out now and cross the Arnon Gorge. See, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his country. Begin to take possession of it and engage him in battle.
25. 오늘부터 내가 천하 만민이 너를 무서워하며 너를 두려워하게 하리니 그들이 네 명성을 듣고 떨며 너로 말미암아 근심하리라 하셨느니라
25. This very day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble and be in anguish because of you.”
The Lord my God has blessed me in all the work of my hands. He has watched over my journey through this vast desert. These fifty-six years the Lord my God has been with me, and I have not lacked anything. This is the very testimony of mine as well as the Israelites, so there are no worries but i give many thanks to His abundant grace.
God seems to tell me the time to go or stop, or the time to get it with battles or let it go in peace. His thought of timing seems totally different from mine. Therefore, most of my prayer is almost about these. "Should I go or stop, or get it with war or let it go in peace?"
Then, how could I hear the answer from Him? I oftentimes take actions according to my thought but if it doesn't work, i stop and wait. Then He tells me through my dream or people around me or even sending a stranger or by changing my circumstances.
Now I am like a child who is waiting for Him to say, " See, set out and cross... Begin to take possession of it and engage it in battle. This very day I will begin to..."
I mean, it is time for me to stop and wait long enough until He tells me that His hand would be with me and show me the land (a kind of part time job or work that I'd like to do) that i should get and conquer.
Lastly, I admit that His thoughts are different from mine, but He used to work through my minds and desires in my heart, so I carefully watch out and listen to them. Meantime, there are no hurries and worries, rather waits in patience with trust in Him wholeheartedly.
