5 You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines.”
Among many Judges, this case of Samson specially describes as a Nazirite who comes from the Hebrew word nazir meaning 'consecrated or separated'. It has the similarity with the calling of John, the prophet, and Jesus, the Messiah as well. God sent the angel of God to the women who are going to give birth to them. They are the first and foremost ones who would raise them, keeping in mind of making them holy and dedicated to God.
Looking back on my days of having my babies in my womb, I would try to make them happy and peaceful in there and desired them to grow well enough to glorify Him, so I named them, 주영, 하영, meaning 'glorify Him and God'. I couldn't find out any other good names for them. I also did not want them to be honored on earth or get wealth, etc. I just wanted them to be separated from the worldly things and dedicated to God as holy children.
However, it was not that easy and a simple thing as the world is wicked and there are too many good things to attract them. I sometimes feel like that I have failed to play a good role of Mom, in the way of raising them as holy Christians. Luckily, they have the faith of God and says "amen" to His word. They are obedient to parents, and they have grown up well as young good adults. I am thankful for that, though I couldn't raise them as Nazirites, whom I believe that God should call for His special work according to His will. Therefore, I'd stop feeling guilty of that, rather thanking for Him raising them until today.
