You only live once

* There is no way that we will make it on time.

As the writer mentioned in the last issue, the so-called Korean economy overcame poverty in the 1970s and 1980s under the name of the miracle of the Han River with excellent human resources and the diligence of Koreans.

However, without a solid foundation, it can be said that they were busy copying advanced foreign cultures and technologies because they were hungry.

It's hard to hear such words these days, but in the old days, when talking about this kind of full stomach, "The belly pork fat is up!" and no further conversation was possible.

Look! In addition to basic science, among the overflowing social science students in Korea, including myself, is there any scholar or professor who provides a clear answer to the current situation in Korea, which is complex and diverse?

I want to simply convey the message. Now, it's not always fast, it's just on time!

필자가 지난 호에서도 언급한 바, 소위 한국 경제는 한강의 기적이란 이름 하에, 70년대 80년대, 우수한 인력과 한국인의 근면성으로 가난 극복을 이루어 냈다.

그러나, 단단한 기초 없이, 배가 고파서, 해외 선진 문물과 기술을 COPY 하기 바빴다고 볼 수 있다.

요즘이야 이런 말 듣기도 힘들지만, 그 옛날 이런 종류의 배 부른 이야기 하면 "뱃 돼지 기름기 올랐구먼!" 하고 더 이상 대화가 불가능했다.

봐라! 기초과학뿐 아니라 필자를 포함하여, 한국의 넘쳐나는 사회과학도들 중에, 이렇게 복잡하고 다양한 한국의 현 상황에 대한 명쾌한 답을 제시하는 학자나 교수가 누가 있나? 간단한 메시지 전달코자 한다.

이제는 빨리빨리가 절대 아니라 Just in time이라고!
