* K-pop is popular all over the world these days.
K-pop and BTS' new music chart records in the U.S. or Europe's Spotopia, which is bigger than YouTubers, seem to be an event. When I was consulting high school seniors preparing for university entrance exams, everyone said that they would like to sing at least if they study hard and fail. BTS also currently owns a new record on the US music charts or European Spotify, but I don't know when its popularity will disappear because it is a trend. Are European or American idols stupid? They will also put in effort at this moment to release a hit song. I honestly believe that the popularity of K-pop in Southeast Asia is just a means of expression for young people in Southeast Asia who envy Korea's economic level, not musicality!

K-pop, 방탄소년단의 미국 음악 차트 신기록이나 유튜버 보다 더 규모가 큰 유럽 스포티피아의 신기록 현상은 하나의 이벤트적인 것으로 보인다. 필자는 고3 대학 입시 준비생들을 컨설팅할 때, 누구나 다 열심히 공부하다가 안 되면 노래라도 한번 불러 보고 싶다고 다들 그랬다. 방탄소년단도 현재 미국 음악 차트나 유럽 스포티파이의 신기록을 소유하고 있지만, 유행에 따른 것이라, 언제 그 인기가 사라질지 모른다고 본다. 유럽이나 미국의 아이돌은 바보인가? 그들도 히트 곡을 내기 위해 이 순간도 노력에 노력을 할 것이다. 동남아 지역에서의 K-pop 인기는 솔직히 음악성이 아니라, 한국 경제 수준을 부러워하는 동남아 지역 젊은이들의 하나의 표현 수단에 불과하다고 본다!
