U.S. Stocks Mixed But Tech Rallies (WSJ. 20250903)

US stocks finished mixed today. The tech-heavy Nasdaq led major indexes with a 1% gain. The S&P 500 rose half a percent, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average ticked down slightly. The technology sector rallied, powered by a 9% surge in Alphabet shares, after a judge allowed Google to avoid harsh antitrust penalties in a ruling that also favored Apple.
