Do not give me your belief

I asked to my boyfriend that the mechanism to become a vegan is the same as that to believe Jesus god or the power of money. 

Anna and Justine invited me to their house. They said there will be a business presentation. I was excited to be invited. Anna said it would be a good choice to wear a business clothing. Anni you would know how scruffy my clothes are and I don't own any formal clothes. I borrowed a black trouser from my friend. I also went to secondhand clothing shop for shoes but I ended up wearing my white sneakers since they didn't have my size. 

Anyway, I was in a good mood to meet them and listen to their presentation. 

As I give you away the ending first, I was deeply disappointed at that night and decided not to be involved with them anymore. 

It was about pyramid scheme. Have you heard about Amway? My uncle did this swindler business once and I remembered all of our family was financially damaged by his failure of the business. I was too young to understand what it actually means, but with my pure intuition I knew that It's not a fair thing. 

A guy I'd not met before standed beside white board. He started his presentation with talking about time. He explained how we are wasting our time in a workplace and how hardly we share our time with our lovely family. And He scribbled the number, '$250,000/per year'. 

'What are you gonna do if you can make this amount of money an year?' 

Again, he wrote $250,000/per month on the white board with same questions. Some guy said he would change his car to the Lamborghini. 

Lastly it was $250,000/per day. 

He said he met the dimond level people who are abundant with money and kept his mouth open with the stupid boring story about what thier sofa's looked like and how he got inspired by those successful people. 

Oh man, he never stopped his mouth. He convinced that we all can be that millionaire. We all can make $250,000/per day in the future with this business! What a sweet dream and what the sweet people who actually believe and get inspired from what he's lying about, deceiving themselves.

What makes me angry most was when that presentator said that we can help people with this business. In his justified mind, as we introduce this wonderful plan to others who would also want to make money without working outside,  we give others a wonderland. It is what they called helping community.  

In my eyes, it is a just terrible trick sucking other's blood. I almost run away when he finished his word. Anna sent me a message saying like, 'I know what we are pursuing is not your type. but legally I need to send this to you.' It was the summarised busuniss explanation and the way to be a member of them.

I'm working with korean boss. She moved into Canada 10 years ago. She said she didn't want to come here. Her husband constantly asked her to try emigration to Canada. They had two children. She made a decision to come here for her children. She'd worked as housekeeper and cleaner for getting a PR during 2 years. She said she cried every night regretting to come to Canada but she could stand all those tough time for her childrens' education.

Now she owns a cleaning business. She has her house. Her two children has grown up and became independent.  

'You know how hard time I spent when I just arrived in here. There was nothing but crying in my life. But now I'm quite relaxed. Do you think I  became what I am now is because that I'm very smart or I'm a good person? I don't think so. It's all from God. God gave me this comfort, not from myself.  So I also want you to meet this God. We have a soul maybe you don't know about. How about coming to our church and have your composure?' 

I said no thanks.

I don't like christian in the way that it annihilates our independence and freedom in our life, boiling down everything to only God. She deserves being relaxed now since it's herself who has worked so hard and made her life strong like that regardless of the church or god. 

When I spoke these story to Kyle my Enlgish teacher,  he said about a 'psychological marketing'.

The pyramid scheme uses our psychology while making people deluded into thinking we can make money with an easily achievable way.  Moreover their strategy is enable to make us mislead ourselves, like saying that our true intention to make money is for helping others and giving them chance for better life.

When Anna and Justine said that they want to raise their children together, I agreed because I thought children who were brought up by both sides of parent would feel more stable. But when It turned out that the way to ahieve their dream is based on the pyramid theme, I despised them. All they want is just making money easily. For deceiving themselves first, they dress up the flagrant desire for money with a nice-looking dream. They believe that they also can reach a diamond level, which makes $250,000 dollars a day. They beileve they found the best way for their life. They believe money.

The christian uses our psychology as well. When she had tough time, she needed the place where she can soothe her nerves. Her children was too young to understand their mother. Maybe her husband would also spend his own hard time by himself.  She couldn't speak in English, so their would be lots of barrier but no friends to her. When she visited a church, she could meet Korean who suffered from the same difficulty. And when she finally cast her ego to the God, the only thing she need to do is just to do what she need to do since as she believes God always has reason to give those shit to her. She becomes a kind little girl who nods well and follows her owner. This owner teachs thier servant to be a good person for going to the heaven. The servant who suffered a lot in this life wants to believe there would be the heaven where they've never tasted, where all her pain can be paid back . The servant follow whatever it is the god ask to them. When the god asks them money, they feed money to their god. 

(Christian doesn't know the concept of brotherhood(I'm reading a book, the power of myth, Joseph campbell. I catch the vocabulary brotherhood in this book). For christian, who believe the god and eager to go to the heaven are their friends. However who doesn't believe 'their' god or lives well without any religion are their enemy or souless outsider. They believe their god is the only god. They believe they really can go to the heaven if the God pick them up, who are kind. They believe to spread their belief to others is to help unenlightened people. They have very clear line for in and out, which seems obscene for me. As I agree, Religion is for feeling brotherhood beyond all difference of race, nationality, sexuality, religion itself and so forth. But as I've observed in this world, Religion has been the powerful method for dominating others. They believe the totalitarian God.)

I'd like to leave any room for reminding me it couldn't be the absolute anwer when I believe in somthing. 

Also I would listen to their journey to arrive at what they believe in. 

When someone said their dream is to be the rich. I might not be friendly to them. But if they tell me their story how they become to want to the rich and if that story enable me to put their shoes, at least I can try to undertand them. 

I become a vegan not from noble motives. Have I told you how I'm become a vegan to you? If I didn't, my next wrting is about the journey of mine to start to live with veganism. 

Thanks to them, I could think of my belief about veganism and promised myself not to draw others in my belief, persuading with no logic. Even I think I have the logic, I won't push others to believe in what I do. It can be mental violence. Hua.

I'll send this letters to you first and then I'll plan our trip plan. Hahahaha!! 

It's suddenly getting cold here.
