Korean Internet Cafe

After personal computer was invented, Korean companies have been focusing on computer games since 1996. Some people opened Internet cafe in Seoul first and the reaction was significantly explosive, because at the time there were not many entertainment other than drinking at a bar. 

No matter how old were they, everyone used Internet cafe, because personal computer was not as reasonable as now 2 decades ago. People were able to chat and play game through internet system. The popularity of Internet cafe peaked in 2004. Many game companies emerged and people were able to play certain games only at Internet cafe. 

Now that most Korean people could use their own computer at home, the popularity of the cafe declined in comparison to before, it is still well loved by students and couples. Students tend to go to the cafe with friends after school and then relieve stress from study, and couples sometimes spend time by playing same game. 

After decrease of the popularity, Internet cafe owners changed their strategy. They started to sell delicious cuisine to raise profits. During the weekend, some people stay in the cafe more than 10 hours. The customers do not have to eat out, because the cafe has its own chef, who cook many different cuisine. As far as I know the quality of food is also amazing.
