이 이미지 작업은 NFT아트와 기존 아트, 실존하지 않는 것과 실존하는 것, 디지털과 아날로그에 대한 개념에서 출발했다.
NFT art라는 개념이 도래하면서 갖게 된 의문은, 예술 작업 혹은 매체가 가지고 있는 물질적인 원본성에 그치지 않았다. 나에게 중요한 지점은 대상 자체를 감각하는 것이었다. 그 방향이 어떻게 변할 것이며, 그 경험을 우리는 어떻게 기억하고 기록하게 될 것이냐였다. 기존의 NFT 작업들이 디지털 이미지로의 고유화만을 이야기했다면, 원본 매체를 경험하는 감각을 어떻게 고유화하고 온라인/디지털상에서 확장되게 만들 수 있을 것일지가 나의 관심사였다.
이 아이디어가 작업으로 구체화된 형식은, 매체의 원본을 현실에서 제거하여 디지털화하는 것에 그치지 않는 것이다. 매체가 내재하고 있으며 표현될 수 있는 감각과, 표현 가능한 조건들의 집합을 총망라하는 것이었다. 매체가 소멸할 때까지 표현 가능한 감각의 종류들을 나의 손으로 발현시키며, 매체가 산화하며 소멸해가는 최후까지 체험하고 목도하는 것이다. 그리고 그 감각들이 표현되는 찰나의 순간들을 하나의 시공간에 응축시켜 NFT상에 기록하는 것이다. 기록으로 하여금 사람들이 찰나이면서 찰나가 아닌 순간, 감각을 불러일으키는 것이 작업의 실험 방향이다.

The question posed by the advent of the concept of NFT art was not just the material originality of art work or media. The important point for me was to feel the object itself. How the direction would change and how we would remember and record the experience. If the existing NFT tasks talked only about uniqueness to digital images, my interest was how I could make the sense of experiencing the original media unique and expand online/digital.

The format in which this idea is embodied in art work is not only to digitize the original media by removing it from reality. It was a collection of expressible sensations and expressable conditions that the media inherent in. It is to express the types of senses that can be expressed with my hands until the media dies, and to experience and see until the end when the media evaporates and dies. And I capture the moment when the senses are expressed, condense them in one space and time, and record them in nft.
The direction of my art experiment is to stimulate people to experience moments which the senses of the medium are expressed in one moment.
