a witty joke and some dreadful stats.
The ‘schrodinger’s virus’ joke that was delivered from a friend of mine the other day cracked me up really. This joke tells why I feel edgy about every physical uneasiness recently. funny... it’s not only me though... some of my friends are on the same page with me since we don’t know what it really feels like to have symptoms. we are not immune to the virus..... But being stuck at home acting good citizens, we are intact, we will be ok...
according to the projection stats. from the institution for health metric and evaluation at the university of washington (www.healthdata.org ), NY will reach the peak in two weeks, but Texas needs to wait one more month to reach the top of the hill. The ending will be sometime in aug. if we are lucky enough. that is not fun at all.
if it is not human engineered virus, the global ecosystem is undergoing some sort of self purification process in an unexpected way... I guess.
I have no idea where this corvid storm take us to.... hope this does not end the era of individuals full blown freedom. The survivors will learn some new perspectives and value system different from the pre-pandemic era. From each individual to big community, we may need to equip with increased self-sufficiency and stronger boundary to go against the immemsely increasing entrophy in the global community.
It ‘s APRIL but the weather goes cranky. sky keeps grey and pours lots of rain. the Indoor temperature goes back to february. movie “the grand budapest hotel” was an eye candy and a momentary remedy for “crazy weather induced blue “ today. The composition of each scene in the movie adheres obsessively to renessance perspective with single vanishing point and the square frame, mimicking 2d paintings. it’s a fairy tale for grown-ups which sometimes turns poetic. It’s a visually detailed and colorful movie like candy shop.... worth watching. I played it on the wall using the beam projector which made me to pay my full-undivided attention. The Director Wes ANderson was born in Houston and UT alumni... to my surprise... I will catch up with the rest of his movies untill this virus storm ends.
