BBC 뉴스 분석에 메일을 보냈다. 표면상 정부에 비판적인 시각을 보여주는 것 같지만 한국 여성이 경제적 이유로 매춘이 되고 정부는 이것을 묵인하고 있다는 기사이다.
그리고 어려운 경제적 환경에서 오는 한국의 세대갈등이 노인들이 매춘이 되는 원인으로 분석하고 있다.
마지막으로 위안부의 결정이 경제적 이유로 선택되어진 것이라고 은근히 제시하는 기사를 보니 BBC에 메일을 보내지 않을 수 없었다.
이것은 매춘 발생을 경제적 위기로 보는 관점을 넘어 한국 여성이 매춘을 하는 이유를 가난으로 단정 지어 한국 여성의 수동적인 모습만을 비하하는 문제도 내재되어 있다. 깊이 있게 아티클을 읽어 보기 권한다.

It has wrong view about Korean women. Do you think? Korean women have been to prostitutes only because of economy based on poor. Is that only reason to be prostitues?
The article looks like to criticise Korean government in 1970's policy.
but firtly, that was no real evidence shown of the real invlovement from Government forces as well as the article insists that Korean women had to be prostitutes through induced by Government but that is also no real evidence in the article.
The article said only health care system for prostitues in critical way. It is wrong. because, the institution for health care checked thier health for life at least. Apprently, prostitution is forbidden in Korea however society has tacit agreement for prostitutes to live just for the rights to live.
Big bias view in the article is written in second paragraph, Second paragraph mentioned the comfort women in Japanese colonial priod. And indirectly, the article said about forces to 'confort women' by Japanese military but the article said that the women had decided to work as prostitutues because of poor like first paragraph because of ecomomic situation.
The article even includes another article which has the content Korean old women has to be prostitues because of poor and no supporting from young generation like gap of generations based on economic situation.
Reader should think about that Analysis looked down Korean women are eaily to be prostitutues due to poor. It is a worong view. Women in Korea are not to be prostitutues only by this reason of poor. I agree some facts are true in few apprent cases happend in Korea however the structure of the article contempts Korean women with bias view influenced by economy.
BBC journalists should think human beings. Don't look down Krean women who became prostitutues just because of poor. This view ignore other conditions.

그 후, 아무런 연락이 오진 않았다. 하지만, 이 뉴스 아티클에 대한 분명한 다른 시각을 전달하고 싶었다. BBC 뉴스는 세계인이 보는 뉴스 채널이기 때문이다. 국내 뉴스 전달에 갇힌 국내 뉴스 채널이 이제는 좀 더 확장된 뉴스 채널의 역할을 하기를 기대해 본다. 가까운 중국 CCTV만 보더라도 그 뉴스의 영향력이 글로벌하다.
