하늘 한 구석에 한 방울의 피
별들이 아마도 다시 시작했나
창공을 나누기를 서로 물어뜯기를
아니면 서로에게 키스하기를
태양의 둥근 탁자에서는
그것에 대해 아무 말이 없네
다만 불타는 빵이 쪼개지네
빛의 유리컵은 손에서 손으로 전달되고
죽은 별들은 자신의 뼈를 갉아먹네
한 방울의 피는 하늘 한 구석에서 무엇을 원하는가
저 하늘의 외눈박이 구석에서
An intruder
A drop of blood in the corner of heaven
Have the stars perhaps again begun
To divide the blue to bite each other
Or to kiss each other
At the sun's round table
Nothing is said about it
Only the fiery bread is broken
Beakers of light pass from hand to hand
And the dead stars gnaw their own bones

Note:
Signs 이라는 대주제의 첫 시. Sign이라는 대주제 하에 An intruder, A winged pipe, An obstinate bundle, A homeless head, A condemned dagger, Burning hands, The last cord의 시가 이어진다.
세르비아 민속에서는 태양이 살아있는 것으로 묘사된다.
보고밀 이단과 같은 발칸의 대중 중세 믿음에서는 예수와 태양은 종종 가깝게 동일시 되었다.
죽은 별은 종종 사자의 영을 가지는 것으로 여겨졌다. (시집의 주, 407쪽)
