윤석열 대통령의 ‘자유 확대 통일’와 이재명 대표 ‘평화 강국 건설’의 ‘공화주의 연대’가 3‧1 절 기념사로 발표됐다.

윤 대통령은 1일 독립선언 기념사에서 “기미독립선언의 뿌리에는 당시 세계사의 큰 흐름인 '자유주의'가 있었다”며 “통일 노력이 북한 주민들에게 희망이 되고 등불이 되어야 한다”고 북한에 ‘자유 확대’를 공식화했다.

이 대표는 지난해 윤 대통령의 31절 기념사에 ‘대통령이 헌법 부정’으로 비하한 것과 달리, 올해 대응은 “강한 평화의 연대로 새로운 나라 열어젖힌 3.1운동의 정신”과 “새로운 대한민국”으로 급선회했다.

이 대표는 지난달 26일 최고위원회에서 “이 정부를 가만히 보면 검사를 내세워 말로 해야 할 일을 주먹으로 해결하고 있다. 의료파업 대처가 대표적”이라 발표했고, 경찰은 1일 의사협회 사무실과 간부진 5명(전 회장 포함) 자택 압수수색으로 강경보수 연대를 확인했다.     

이 대표는 지난해 3월 3일 최고회의에서 “대한민국 대통령의 입으로 우리 건국이념과 헌법정신이 송두리째 부정당했다”며 “그런 일본의 잘못을 합리화하고 협력을 구걸하는 것은 학폭 피해자가 가해자에게 머리를 조아리는 것과 같다”고 국가 정체성 훼손을 지목했다.

이 대표의 올해 발표는 "무도한 정권이 대한민국의 뿌리인 3·1운동 정신을 망각하고 훼손하고 있다"며 "3·1운동은 단지 역사 속에 박제된 과거가 아니"라며 "오만한 권력이 국민을 이기려 들 때마다, 국민들은 하나 되어 힘을 모았고 나라를 바로 세웠다"고 밝혀 ‘윤 정권과 협력 체제’로 전환했다.

윤 대통령은 올해 기념사에서 "내년 한일 수교 정상화 60주년을 계기로 보다 생산적이고 건설적인 양국 관계로 한 단계 도약시켜 나가기를 기대한다"며 "우리의 통일 노력이 북한 주민들에게 희망이 되고 등불이 되어야 한다. 정부는 북한 주민들을 향한 도움의 손길을 거두지 않을 것이며, 북한 인권 개선을 위한 노력도 멈추지 않을 것"이라 밝혔다.

이 대표는 오늘 페이스북으로 "민주공화국 대한민국이 탄생할 수 있었다"며 "절말의 시대를 희망으로 이겨내고 총칼보다 강한 평화의 연대로 새로운 나라를 열어젖힌 3.1운동의 정신이 거대한 퇴행을 막아내고 새로운 대한민국을 만들어야 할 우리의 길잡이가 되어줄 것"이라 ‘공화주의’를 밝혀 ‘민주주의 이탈’을 밝혔다.윤 대통령의 지난해 31 독립선언 기념사는 “(조선은) 세계사의 변화에 제대로 준비하지 못해 국권을 상실했다”며 “일본은 과거의 군국주의 침략자에서 우리와 보편적 가치를 공유하고 안보와 경제, 글로벌 어젠다에서 협력하는 파트너로 변했다”고 ‘한일 협력’으로 전환했다.

이 대표가 민주당 공천 탈당자에 대해 "경기하다가 질 것 같으니 경기 안 하겠다, 이런 건 별로 국민들이 보시기에 아름답지 않을 것"이라며 "최근에 탈당하는 분들이 한두 분 계신 것 같은데, 입당도 자유고 탈당도 자유"라고 ‘민주당 분열’을 지난달 28일 공식화했다.

이 대표는 취임 첫날인 2022년 8월 29일 '1호 지시사항'에 민주주의위기 대책기구 설치하고, 대표 취임 회견에서 ‘민생 논의로 영수회담 제안’하며 의제에서 ‘민주주의 위기’를 제외했으나 무시됐다.

이 대표는 이후 한 차례 더 ‘영수회담’ 제의도 무시됐고, 2023년 9월 29일 페이스북에 "12월 정기국회 때까지 정쟁 멈추고 (중략) 대통령과 야당 대표가 조건 없이 만나 (중략) 바란다"고 영수회담 3차례 공개 제안이 모두 무시됐다.

Representative Lee said at the Supreme Council on the 26th of last month, “If you look closely at this government, it is using its fists to resolve issues that should be addressed with words by appointing prosecutors. “The response to the medical strike is a representative example,” he announced.

Subsequently, on the 1st, the police confirmed their hard-line conservative solidarity by conducting a search and seizure of the Medical Association's office and the homes of five executives (including the former president).

Unlike last year's disparagement of President Yoon's 31st Independence Movement Day commemoration speech by saying, "the president is denying the Constitution," this year's response took a sharp turn toward "the spirit of the March 1st Movement that opened up a new country with strong solidarity of peace" and "a new Republic of Korea."

Representative Lee said at the Supreme Council on March 3 last year, “Our founding ideology and constitutional spirit have been completely denied through the words of the President of the Republic of Korea,” and “Rationalizing Japan’s mistakes and begging for cooperation is like a victim of school violence bowing down to the perpetrator.” “It is the same as the damage to national identity,” he said.

Representative Lee's announcement this year said, "The ruthless regime is forgetting and damaging the spirit of the March 1st Movement, the root of the Republic of Korea," and "The March 1st Movement is not just a past stuffed into history," and "Arrogant power is destroying the people." “Every time we tried to win, the people came together as one, gathered their strength, and set the country straight,” he said, transitioning to a “cooperation system with the Yoon administration.”

In this year's commemorative speech, President Yoon said, "I hope that next year's 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan will serve as an opportunity to take the relationship to the next level toward a more productive and constructive one." He added, "Our unification efforts should be a source of hope and a beacon of light for the people of North Korea." “The government will not withdraw its helping hand from the North Korean people and will not stop its efforts to improve human rights in North Korea.”

Representative Lee said on Facebook today, “The Republic of Korea, a democratic republic, was born,” and “The spirit of the March 1st Movement, which overcame an era of despair with hope and opened a new country with a solidarity of peace stronger than the gun and sword, prevented a huge regression and created a new Republic of Korea.” He revealed 'republicanism' and 'departure from democracy' by saying, "It will be our guide to create."

President Yoon’s speech commemorating the Declaration of Independence on March 1st last year said, “(Joseon) lost its national sovereignty because it failed to properly prepare for changes in world history,” and “Japan has moved from being a militaristic invader in the past to sharing universal values with us and contributing to security, economy, and the global agenda. “It has changed into a cooperative partner,” he said, switching to ‘Korea-Japan cooperation.’

Representative Lee said of the Democratic Party's nominated defectors, "I won't play because I feel like I'm going to lose if I play. This won't be good for the public." He added, "It seems like there are one or two people who are leaving the party recently, and they are free to join the party and leave the party." The ‘Democratic Party split’ was made official on the 28th of last month, saying, “There is also freedom.”

On August 29, 2022, the first day of his inauguration, Representative Lee established a democratic crisis countermeasure organization in 'Directive No. 1', and excluded the 'democracy crisis' at the representative inauguration conference by 'proposing a meeting between leaders to discuss the people's livelihood', but it was ignored.

Afterwards, Representative Lee's proposal for a 'leadership meeting' was ignored once more, and on September 29, 2023, he posted on Facebook, "I hope that the political dispute will stop until the regular National Assembly session in December (omitted) and that the president and the leader of the opposition party will meet without conditions (omitted)." All three public proposals at the Goh Young-soo meeting were ignored.
