000_HISDER NEW YORK: 함께 걷는다는 것

타임스퀘어와 록펠러센터 사이,
신호등이 깜빡이고 강아지가 주인을 기다리는 그 장면처럼,
우리는 그곳에 HISDER를 놓았다.

Between Times Square and Rockefeller Center,
in that quiet moment when the light flickers and a dog waits for its human—
that’s where we chose to place HISDER.

도시에는 그 도시만의 리듬이 있다.
뉴욕의 리듬은 빠르다.
사람들은 늘 어딘가로 향하고,
그 사이를 바람과 소음이 지나간다.

Every city moves to its own rhythm.
New York’s rhythm is fast.
People are always on their way somewhere,
with wind and noise rushing through the spaces in between.

그러나 그 흐름 속에서도
어떤 존재들은 천천히, 서로의 속도로 걷는다.
함께 걷는다는 것의 의미를,

우리는 그 장면에서 다시 생각하게 된다.

HISDER는 그 장면을 잊지 않기로 했다.

And yet, even in that flow,

some beings move slowly—at their own pace, together.

That’s where we started to rethink what it means to walk side by side.

HISDER chose not to forget that moment.

그래서 이곳, 맨해튼 한복판,

6번가와 50번가가 만나는 이 층,

우리는 새로운 관계를 위한 공간을 열었다.
이곳은 미국 지사이자, 일종의 실험실이다.
디자인은 더 간결해지고, 사용성은 더 집요해진다.
우리는 기능보다 감정을 먼저 떠올린다.

사용자는 제품을 쓰는 사람이 아니라,
기억을 담는 사람이다.

So we opened a space here—
on the corner of 6th Avenue and 50th Street,
in the very heart of Manhattan—
for a new kind of relationship.

This is our U.S. branch,
but also a kind of laboratory.
Our designs become simpler,
our intentions more deliberate.
We think of emotion before function.
To us, a user is not just someone who uses a product—
but someone who holds a memory.

반려견과의 일상은 때로 이동이며, 때로 정지다.
그 모든 순간을 위해 우리는 존재한다.
여기에서 시작된 장면이,
다시 누군가의 역사로 이어지기를 바라며.

REWRITE HISTORY, TOGETHER.
우리는 그 말을 믿는다. 그리고 만들어간다.

Life with a dog is sometimes movement,
sometimes stillness.
For every one of those moments,
we exist.
And from here,
we hope those scenes continue—
into someone else's history.
