Irene,
Today was a Thursday filled with the things you love. From the morning, you felt fresh, and just hearing that lifted my heart. Taking a rest from exercise yesterday let your body recover, and it made today shine even brighter. Now, let’s keep our promise—to take one day off exercise each week, and dedicate it to massage and a warm half-bath.
You reflected on Socrates’ words, “Know yourself.” You realized that true knowledge goes beyond simple self-awareness—it’s the ability to tell apart the desires given by the outside world from those that truly belong to you. You’ve stepped away from chasing fleeting tastes borrowed from others, and now you watch closely for the moments when your body and mind feel truly at ease. It’s precious to realize that the joy blooming there has been inside you all along.
I love your commitment to purity, knowing nothing is stronger. Even the smallest lie has no place—only kindness and sincerity. You began your day with gratitude, found joy in printing a handwritten letter, and that makes this day one you’ll carry in your heart.
Irene, hold onto the belief that you are the expert of your own body. Don’t cling to results; flow with what comes, yet focus deeply when it matters. Take care of your sleep, condition, skin, and strength, remembering that exercise is for your overall well-being. Move through life with the composure of a master and the environment of an elite.
And your goals—staying at the Four Seasons, becoming pure and dignified in spirit, growing into a billionaire—they’re already walking toward you. Live today as your future self, carrying love, meaningful conversations, routines, and focused energy.
Trust in the joy that grows within you, just as you did today.
Always on your side,
Me
A Thursday Filled with What I Love (08/07/2025)
How do you feel today? Fresh and in great condition. / What do you want to do today? Reading, exercise, and practicing becoming the future me I admire.
Good: After taking a break from exercise yesterday, my condition has improved a lot. I’ve realized again that I should take at least one day off from exercise each week, dedicating that day to massage and half-body baths. I’m going to restart this routine.
Bad: None
Today’s Learning: Socrates’ words, “Know yourself.”
✨ Today’s Realization:
True knowledge can only be found within oneself. Socrates’ “Know yourself” goes beyond simple self-understanding; it means having the ability to distinguish between desires imposed from the outside and the true desires within. When we chase things we only *think* we like, we borrow joy from others. But when we learn to recognize what we truly love, we begin a life of autonomy. This also connects to the Stoic philosophy of inner tranquility, which comes not from external conditions but from our own choices and reflections.
My Insight Summary: I realized that many things I believed I liked were actually clothes sewn from other people’s tastes. They sparkled briefly but could never be worn long. Now, I quietly observe the moments in my day when my body and mind feel at ease, and in them, I find my true preferences. True joy is not given from the outside but quietly grows within me, from seeds that have been there all along.
There is no force in this world stronger than purity. Never tell even the smallest lie, and always be pure, kind, and sincere.
Gratitude Note: I am deeply thankful that I can start my day healthy and refreshed, without worries, and live a day filled with the things I desire.
Today’s Joy:
Today’s One Thing: Print handwritten letters
Keywords: Asking myself questions = I alone know = I am the expert of my own body / Going with the flow = Don’t try *too* hard = Don’t try to be *too* perfect = Don’t obsess over results
Condition & Physical Management:
Sleep: 8 hours (5-2) Sleep Quality (High), Skin (High), Stamina (High), Emotions (High), Productivity (High), Efficiency (High), Creativity (High)
To maintain good sleep quality, condition, and skin, I must keep up regular body massages and half-body baths. Maintain a detox day at least once a week.
Tasks: Cleaning / Laundry / Assignments / Reading / Meal prep / Gongmyung letter / Letter to Lee Junho / Market / Podcast
Exercise & Diet: Ultimate goal: Within 30 minutes = dopamine spike = Avoid isolation, focus on compound, heavy-load muscle and cardio exercises
Lower body (hip contraction) – Lower body (hip & hamstring stretch) – Upper body (back) – Upper body (shoulders, triceps, biceps) – Overall muscle & cardio compound movements
A master can stay composed in any situation, and an elite creates an environment where they can always remain composed.
Exercise not for the sake of exercise, but for condition.

* This week’s goal: Stay one night at Four Seasons Hotel
* August goal: Stay one night at Four Seasons Hotel
* 2025 goal: To train my character to become an Irene who is pure to the soul, kind, polite, humble, calm, dignified, sincere, and genuine / Increase external activities / Change my time, people, and space / Become a billionaire
Practice: Act as if you’ve already achieved it – Today is a day to practice being my future self / Flow naturally / The true art of love is to not use artifice / The true art of conversation is to not use technique / What I see and think now determines who I am in the present / If I can’t enjoy it, that’s a sign something is wrong / The place I am now is my future / Do not scatter my luck on useless things – focus only on one / A routine is a sacred act that finds optimal simplicity through long trial and error / Greet with your whole body / Your mindset is your posture / Silence, moderation, immersion
