What Is Life

삶이란
잠시 머무는 빛
Life is
a light that lingers only for a moment
손에 쥐려 하면
더 빨리 흘러가고
The more you try to hold it,
the faster it slips away
가만히 두면
조용히 곁에 머무는 것
But if you let it be,
it quietly stays by your side
사람은 사랑을 믿고
시간은 그 믿음을
천천히 흔든다
People believe in love,
and time
slowly shakes that belief
말은 끝내 다 전해지지 않고
마음은 늘
조금 남는다
Words are never fully delivered,
and the heart
always leaves something behind
그래서 우리는
헤어지고 나서야
서로를 더 또렷이 기억한다
That is why
only after parting
do we remember each other more clearly
어느 날은
이유 없이 슬프고
어느 밤은
까닭 없이 따뜻하다
Some days
are sad without reason,
and some nights
are warm without cause
삶이란
그 모든 사이를 지나
조용히 사라지는 일
Life is
passing through all those in-betweens
and quietly fading away
그러나
완전히 사라지지는 않는 것
Yet
it never completely disappears
한 번 스친 눈빛처럼
누군가의 마음에 남아
다시
빛나는 것
Like a fleeting glance,
it remains in someone's heart
and shines
once again
