<대나무의 꿈>_박성진
곧게 곧게 뻣는구나
가녀린 몸 가녀린 잎새들아!
곧게 곧게 뻗어
굵은 대나무가 되는 꿈을 꾼다.
마지막 하얗게 내뿜는 액체가 되어
단 한 번 죽음도 아랑곳하지 않으련다
사사삭 사사삭 소리 내며 잘도 크구나.
바람 소리도 스치며
사사삭 사사삭 별이 스치는 소리까지 들으며...
하얗게 피어오르는
한낱 액체가 되는
그날을 모르는 채
곧게 하늘을 향해 솟구친다
굵은 대나무 꿈을 이루기 위해...

You stretch tall and straight,
Oh, slender body, delicate leaves!
Reaching ever upward,
Dreaming of becoming a strong bamboo.
Becoming the final white liquid you exhale,
I will not mind even a single death,
You grow so well, rustling softly.
Brushing past the sound of the wind,
Even hearing the soft whispers of the stars...
Unaware of the day
When you will rise as nothing but
A pale liquid,
You soar straight toward the sky,
To fulfill the dream of becoming a sturdy bamboo...
