트럼프는 2020년 조지아주에서 대선 결과를 가짜 유권자를 동원해 조작했다는 혐의로 지방 검사의 기소를 받았고, 현재 관련 혐의로 특별 검사의 기소 포함 4건의 기소가 진행중입니다. 

그는 보석으로 현재는 풀려나 있는 상태인데 다른 18명의 피고에게 없는 보석 조건이 있습니다. 그가 관련된 증인이나 관련된 그 어느 누구도 겁주거나 위협하지 않고, 소셜 미디어에서도 이렇게 행동하지 않으며, 겁주거나 위협하는 포스팅을 리트윗하는 등의 행동을 하지 않는 것입니다. 

내년 2024년 11월에 미국 대선이 있고 현재 트럼프는 공화당의 압도적 1위 후보입니다. 그에 대한 기소는 오히려 그의 지지율만 높여주는 꼴이 되고 있습니다. 현재로서는 특파원도 그가 기소되서 법정에 있을지 아니면 선거 캠페인을 다니고 있을지 알 수가 없는 상황으로 더 지켜봐야한다고 이야기 합니다.
