오늘 문득 춘천가는 기차가 생각이 났다.
자연스럽게 따라오는 김현철의 노래, 그리고 남예지의 음성.

그녀의 앨범 모두가 좋았지만,
이 노래와 '미소를 지으며 나를 떠나 보낸 그 모습처럼'을 애정한다.
1집 앨범을 내고 소식을 들은 바 없이 지내다
오래 전 제주도 어느 카페에서 라이브 공연을 본 기억도 있다.

원곡과 다르게 그녀만의 방식으로 소화한 곡들은 사후에 더욱 많은 사랑을 받고 있다.
나 또한 그녀의 베스트 앨범에 담긴 음악들을 즐겨듣곤 하는데, 그 중 좋아하는 곡이

낯설게 부르면서 완성되기도 한다.
끊임없이 글을 쓰고도 내 글이 없는 현실 안에서 잠시 멈칫할 때도 있지만
그래도 늘 어딘가로 향해 나아갔다는 증거가 그 안에 있지 않겠는가.
