오늘은 간만에 전문 분야 이야기입니다.
QS와 RICS에 대해 알고 싶으신 분들이 제가 Brunch Story와 Naver Blog를 통해 적어둔, 해당 내용들을 접하시고 문의도 해주셔서 말씀도 드리며 좋은 인연을 맺었습니다.
또한, 이러한 활동을 꾸준히 해오다 보니, RICS의 APAC (Asia Pacific) 지역 regional 담당인 Singapore 측 권유로 MEG로 활동하게 되었습니다.
MEG는 Member Engagement Group의 약자로,
지원자 분들도 돕고, 제가 하는 강의를 통해 CPD 저변도 확대하며, 동시에 RICS Korea networking을 하게 됩니다.
Event에 pannel로 초대 받아 발표도 하고 그랬더니, 아예 정식 활동을 하도록 하네요.
MEG는 종각역 스타벅스 등에서 coffee chat이나 샌드위치를 먹으면서 하는 브런치를 하기도 하고,
강의나 Seminar 그리고 year end event도 기획하고 있으니 관심 있는 분들이 편하게 참석해 주셔도 좋을 것 같습니다.

RICS South Korea Member Engagement Group
RICS is proud to announce the launch of the South Korea Member Engagement Group (MEG) – a new initiative designed to enhance local member support, build professional networks, and raise the profile of RICS within the South Korean built environment sector.
The South Korea MEG brings together a group of committed RICS professionals from the local market who will work together to:
Organise and promote local CPD and networking events
Support APC candidates and emerging professionals
Act as local ambassadors for the RICS brand and values
Strengthen engagement with industry stakeholders and the wider surveying community
Grow RICS presence and industry recognition within Korea.
The MEG will operate as a strategic group, aligned with RICS’ best practice guidance for member engagement. It aims to respond flexibly to local needs while advancing the organisation’s goals in South Korea.
Further details about upcoming events and initiatives led by the MEG will be shared with members in the coming months. We look forward to working together to grow and strengthen the RICS community in South Korea.
