Amilcare Solferini Poetry Contest 25(2025년 국제 경쟁 시 경연 대회) 참가(이탈리아)
시인 단테의 나라, 이탈리아에서 Amilcare Solferini(1870-1929:150주년)시인을 기리기 위하여 2015년에 시작된 시 경연대회이며, 2025년 제2회 국제 시 경연대회가 개최되었고, 이 공모전은 단순한 글쓰기 경연에 그치지 않고, ‘Le Vie dei Poeti’ (시인의 길)이라는 공공 예술 프로젝트와 연결되어 있다. 주최 측은 “미래의 기억(memory of the future)”을 만든다는 표현을 사용하며, 시와 이야기를 통해 과거와 현재, 미래를 연결하는 장을 마련하며, 이탈리아, 칸아베세(Canavese)의 Rodallo에 본부를 두고 있다.
2025년 10월에 [Light and Life]를 응모하여(영문, MS word, text form, 20 행 한정), 11/18 밤에 결과를 통보받았으며, “Honorable Mention”상을 수여 받았고, 11월 30일 Pavone Canavese Castle에서 시상식이 있다.
Light and Life
Life begins in light,
Yet true birth awakens in the darkness.
A seed breaks through the blackened earth
to bloom as a radiant flower.
Even in days buried deep in despair,
time moves in quiet grace,
preparing light beyond the shadow.
When that light seeps into my heart,
I meet the forgotten self once more.
Light is not just for me-
It shines on others,
warms the world in its gentle embrace,
and only then becomes life.
A flower does not bloom for joy alone;
it becomes to rise above its pain.
So seeds are born,
and life continuous anew.
For light is more than brightness-
it is the meaning of life’s beginning.
빛과 생명
생명의 고향은 빛,
그러나 진정한 탄생은 어둠 속에서 깨어난다.
씨앗은 검은 흙을 뚫고
찬란한 꽃으로 피어난다.
절망 속에 묻힌 날에도
시간은 조용히 흐르며
어둠 너머 빛을 준비한다.
그 빛이 마음에 스며들면
잊고 있던 나를 다시 본다.
빛은 나만을 위한 것이 아니라
이웃을 비추고
세상을 따뜻하게 품을 때
비로소 생명이 된다.
꽃은 즐거워 피는 게 아니라
고통을 슬기롭게 벗어나기 위함이다.
그래서 씨앗이 생기고
다시 새로운 생명을 잇는다.
빛은 단지 밝음이 아니라
생명의 탄생을 의미한다
