A Slow-Tempo Saturday

by Irene

A Letter to Myself

Irene, today is a Saturday to catch your breath.

Yesterday, you dove deep into focus for 12 hours straight,

setting up everything for the new semester and your new routine.

It may not have produced visible results,

and there might have been moments that felt a little empty—

but you knew it all along.

That time was shaping you, making you stronger from the inside.

Beginnings are always slow and awkward.

But now you know that even those moments

are a part of your growth.

When rhythm seeps into your body,

when immersion comes naturally,

and when you start to find your flow—

you’ll realize you’ve already become stronger.

Every step you take, no matter how shaky,

is deepening your roots.

Today, recover from yesterday’s fatigue through movement,

tidy up the little corners of your life,

and take time to prepare for the version of yourself you’re becoming.

You’re already doing so well.

Even if you’re moving slowly, it’s okay.

These very moments will be what make you shine.

♡ With love and faith,

From the me of today

A Gentle Pause on Saturday (04/12/2025)

How do you feel today?

A bit tired from yesterday’s intense flow, but I think I need to shake it off through some movement.

What do you want to do today?

Reading, exercising, and practicing becoming the version of myself I admire in the future.

Good:

Yesterday, I dove deep into focus for 12 hours straight right after waking up, setting up everything for the new semester and a new routine. Thanks to that, I feel I’ll be able to handle everything more efficiently going forward. It was a bit exhausting, and because it was a day spent setting things up rather than producing visible results, there was a fleeting sense of emptiness. But knowing this phase was essential for growth makes me feel proud. The workload was new, and that naturally took more time—but powering through it all at once, even if it was hard, felt better than dragging it out. You did great. Truly, well done.

Bad:

None.

 Today’s Learning:

"All great things are born of pain." – Plato

Starting something new always feels unfamiliar, takes time, and often makes you question yourself due to repeated mistakes or feeling left behind. But all of it becomes the foundation for growth. Trial and error, slowness—they are all necessary steps in becoming more solid. In time, unfamiliarity turns into comfort, and comfort becomes strength. The confusion and discomfort you feel today are simply part of the path to growth.

✨ Today’s Insight:

Everyone is clumsy and slow at first. But enduring that clumsiness is what leads to growth. As long as I don’t stop—even if I move slowly—I’ve already become stronger than I was yesterday. Change happens only where beginnings exist, and growth happens only where change is embraced. So even these small discomforts and slow steps are proof that I am moving forward.

Purity is the most powerful force in this world.

Never lie, not even a little. Be pure, kind, and always speak from the heart.

Condition & Recovery:

Sleep: 8 hours (6–3)

Sleep Quality (High) / Skin (High) / Energy (High) / Mood (High) / Productivity (High) / Efficiency (High) / Creativity (High)

To maintain good sleep and skin: Regular body massage and half-baths are essential.

Detox day: At least once a week.

Exercise & Diet – Ultimate Goal:

Keep it under 30 minutes → dopamine spike → focus on compound movements / low weight / cardio

Lower body (glute contraction) → lower body (glute & hamstring relaxation) → upper back → shoulders, triceps, biceps → total body compound + cardio

A master handles any situation calmly, while an elite creates a calm environment.

Exercise should serve your condition, not just the routine.

This week’s goal:

Spend Saturday at Four Seasons.

April goal:

Spend at least one day a week at the Four Seasons.

2025 Goal:

Train myself to become Irene who is pure, kind, polite, humble, composed, and filled with sincere and genuine character.

Increase outdoor activities / Change time, people, and space / Become a billionaire.

Practice:

Act as if it’s already achieved — today is for practicing my future self.

Flow like water.

True love requires no tricks.

True communication needs no performance.

What I see and think now determines who I am.

If I’m not enjoying it, it’s a signal something’s off.

Where I am now is my future.

Don't scatter my luck on trivial things—focus on one.

Routine is a sacred act of simplifying through trials.

Greet with your whole body.

Posture reflects mindset.

Silence. Moderation. Immersion.
