내가 좋아하는 노래들
공간 제약으로 인해 제목을 다 채워넣지 못했습니다. The full title 은 "When you taught me how to dance" 이지요. 네, 다시 Katie Melua 의 노래로 돌아왔습니다. 2006년작 Miss Potter 의 soundtrack 으로 삽입된 곡이지요. 어린시절의 아련한 추억과 느낌이 Katie 의 목소리에 진하게 배어있는듯 합니다. Dance (댄스) 를 '단스'로 발음하고, glance (글랜스) 를 '글랑스'로 발음하는 부분이 참 매력적입니다. 저만의 생각일지는 모르지만 미국식 영어는 좀 '없어보이지' 않나요?

가사의 rhyme 이 꽤 많이 보입니다. dance, eyes, glance, surprise 그 후에는 well 과 spell, 그리고 entrance 와 dance 가 반복되고, 그 후로도 lake, before, take, more 로 rhyming 은 이어집니다. "You want me, then take me" 라는 식의 원초적인 저급한 노래를 듣기보다는 이렇게 아름다운 노래를 듣는 편이 모든 면에서 건강하겠지요?
