Here is what it looks like in New York City in the week eve of December 25, 2023. No particular festivities unless you are a tourist, and for most New Yorkers, it's just another Monday dayoff during which they can sleep more, drink more, eat more, and rest a tad more. Observing December 25 as Christmas is no longer a spiritual thing, and perhaps this is better off because after all, it is not the birthday of Christ; it's nothing but a pagan creation mixed with winter solstice celebrations splashed with other Sun- and Moon-worshiping fools.
