THE REAL ENEMY
인간의 이기심으로 바닥에 떨어진 진정한 가치는
이리저리 짓밟혀 형태를 알아볼 수 없을 만큼 훼손되었고, 본체는 산산이 흩어졌다.
수많은 희생으로 탄생한 작품조차, 그 가치를 논하기보다는 누가 들고 있을 것인가를 두고 끝없는 논쟁만 벌어진다. 작품의 본질은 이미 잊혀진 지 오래다.
우리는 자신에게 옳다고 말하는 내면의 소리를
의심하지 않는다. 그 소리를 아군으로 여기며, 자신을 잘 의심하지 않는다.
스스로에게 무엇을 물어보아도, 당신은 늘 자신이
옳다는 답을 내놓을 것이다. 내면에서 나를 부추기며, 언제나 내가 옳다고 말하는 그 소리가 정말 당신의
아군이라고 믿는가?
내면의 소리가 정말 아군인지 먼저 의심할 필요가 있다. 내부의 적을 먼저 알아차려야만, 외부의 목소리와 마주할 준비가 된다. 어쩌면 우리가 들을 수 있는
모든 소리는 결국 스스로가 마주해야 할 내면의 적의 소리일지도 모른다.
미움은 외부의 적이 사라졌다고 해서 없어지지 않는다내면 깊숙이 자리 잡은 진짜 적이 살아 있는 한, 갈등은결코 끝나지 않을 것이다.
적은 외부에 있지 않다.

The true value, fallen to the ground by human selfishness, has been trampled and damaged beyond recognition, with its essence scattered into pieces. Even works born from countless sacrifices are now the subject of endless debates over who will hold them, rather than discussions about their true worth. The essence of the work has long been forgotten.
We do not question the inner voice that tells us we are always right. We regard it as our ally and rarely doubt ourselves. Whatever we ask ourselves, we will always come up with the answer that we are right. But is the voice urging us on truly our ally?
We need to first question whether the inner voice is truly an ally. Only by recognizing the internal enemy can we be ready to face the voices from the outside. Perhaps every voice we hear is, in the end, the voice of the internal enemy we must confront.
Hatred does not disappear when external enemies are gone. As long as the true enemy resides deep within, the conflict will never end.
The enemy is not external.
