돌의 눈물
Tears of the Stone
아이들이 논다.
커다란 돌 위에서
긁고, 기대고, 눕고,
가끔은 발로 차기도 한다.
하지만 돌은 말할 수 없다.
표현하지 못하기에
버티는 걸로, 움직이지 않는 걸로
사랑하고 있다.
시간이 지나 아이들은 자란다.
어른이 된 아이는 다시 그 돌 앞에 선다.
주저앉아 돌을 끌어안고 흐느끼며 묻는다.
"한 마디만 해줘
정말 나를 사랑한 거였다고"
돌은 여전히 말이 없다.
돌의 무게만큼, 긴 침묵만큼,
아이의 눈물은 멈추지 않는다.

Tears of the Stone
Children play.
On a giant stone-they scratch it,
lean on it, lie on it,
sometimes even kick it.
The stone stays silent.
Unable to speak,
it loves in its own way
by enduring, by never moving.
As time passes,
the children grow up.
One, now an adult,
returns to the stone.
They sink down beside it,
wrap their arms around it,
and ask through tears.
"Just say one thing.
Tell me it was because you loved me."
The stone remains silent.
As heavy as its weight,
as long as its silence
the child's tears do not stop.

저희는 미술작가 부부로서, 예술을 만나는 방식에 변화를 시도하고자 아트쉬프트를 만들었습니다. 아트쉬프트는 예술이 단순한 결과물에 그치지 않고, 예술과 삶, 작가와 관객이 함께 어우러지는 공간입니다. 작업실, 전시공간, 카페, 굿즈샵이 결합된 이곳은 예술가의 창작 과정과 그 안에 담긴 고민, 서사를 자연스럽게 나누며, 예술이 일상 속에 스며드는 문화를 만들어가고자 합니다.
We created Art x Shift with the intention of transforming the way we as a visual artist couple engage with art. Art x Shift is a space where art goes beyond being a mere outcome, becoming a place where art, life, and the connection between artists and audiences coexist. With a combination of a studio, exhibition space, café, and a shop, this space naturally shares the process of creation, the challenges, and narratives within, while fostering a culture where art seamlessly integrates into everyday life.
