너를 부인하고 나를 따라오라.
너는 날마다 자기 십자가를 지고
나를 따라오라.
나를 부인하는 것만으로도 벅찬데,
십자가를 지고 예수님을 따라가라니,
앞이 막막했다.
하지만,
나를 부인하는 것이
곧 십자가를 지는 것이었고,
예수님을 따라가는 길은
곧 나를 부인하는 길이었다.
여러 갈래 길 중
하나를 고르는 문제가 아니었다.
앞면이냐 뒷면이냐의 문제였다.
선택은 오직 하나.
나를,
내 생각을,
내 말을 따를 것인가.
아니면,
나를 부인하는 그 십자가를 지고,
예수님의 말씀을 따를 것인가.

Deny yourself and follow Me.
Take up your cross daily and follow Me.
Even denying myself felt overwhelming.
And now I’m told to carry a cross and
follow Jesus?
The road ahead felt impossible.
But then I understood,
To deny myself is to carry the cross,
and the path of following Jesus is the
path of self-denial.
It wasn’t about choosing
one road among many.
It was a matter of facing
the front or the back.
The choice is only one.
Will I follow myself,
my thoughts,
my words?
Or,
will I take up the cross that denies me
and follow the words of Jesus?

저희는 미술작가 부부로서, 예술을 만나는 방식에
변화를 시도하고자 아트쉬프트를 만들었습니다. 아트쉬프트는 예술이 단순한 결과물에 그치지 않고, 예술과 삶, 작가와 관객이 함께 어우러지는 공간입니다. 작업실, 전시공간, 카페, 굿즈샵이 결합된 이곳은 예술가의 창작 과정과 그 안에 담긴 고민, 서사를 자연스럽게 나누며, 예술이 일상 속에 스며드는 문화를 만들어가고자 합니다.
We created Art x Shift with the intention of transforming the way we as a visual artist couple engage with art. Art x Shift is a space where art goes beyond being a mere outcome, becoming a place where art, life, and the connection between artists and audiences coexist. With a combination of a studio, exhibition space, café, and a shop, this space naturally shares the process of creation, the challenges, and narratives within, while fostering a culture where art seamlessly integrates into everyday life.
