The pathless path
한 번도 가본 적 없는 곳이 있다.
익숙한 논리나 감각으로는 닿을 수 없는 곳.
우리는 지금 그 땅에 발을 딛고 있다.
작가로서 익숙한 언어는 더 이상 나를 이끌지 않는다.
몇 개의 이미지로 채울 수 없는 모든 가능성을 품은 공간 앞에서, ‘전하고 싶다’는 마음보다 ‘전해지기를 바란다’는 마음으로 작업한다.
의도가 아니라 믿음으로, 새로운 길을 걸어가고 있다.
한 걸음씩 나아간다.
그 한 걸음이 언젠가 길이 되기를 바라며.
우리는 길이 없는 곳에서 시작한다.
형식에서 본질로,
한 번의 경험에서 매일의 일상으로.
익숙한 기준을 쉬프팅 (Shifting) 한다.
이건 새로운 스타일이 아니라, 방향의 전환이다.
아트쉬프트는 갤러리도, 카페도 아니다.
유행이나 트렌드도 아니다.
여기는 변화가 시작되는 지점이다.
Art x Shift
There is a place I have never been before.
A place that cannot be reached with familiar logic or senses. We are standing on that land now.
As an artist, the familiar language no longer guides me. In front of a space that cannot be filled with just a few images, I work with the hope that it may be "received" rather than the desire to "convey." Not with intention, but with faith, I walk a new path.
Step by step, I move forward, hoping that one day, that step will become a path.
We begin in a place with no path.
From form to essence, from a single experience to everyday life, I shift the familiar standards.
This is not a new style, but a shift in direction.
Art x Shift is neither a gallery nor a café.
It is not a trend or a fashion.
This is where change begins.
