모세가 하나님의 말씀을 듣기 위해 산 위로 올라갔습니다.
하나님이 모세에게 말씀하셨어요. "너희는 나를 위해 특별한 장소를 지으라.
그러면 내가 나의 백성들 사이에 거하리라."
그때는 하나님을 예배할 특별한 장소가 없었어요.
하나님이 '성소'라고 불리는 특별한 장막에 대해 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
성소는 하나님을 예배할 장소가 될 것입니다.
하나님은 사람들이 어떻게 예물을 드려야 하는지에 대해 모세에게 말씀하셨어요.
모세는 하나님의 말씀을 매우 열중하여 들었습니다.
모세는 하나님이 가르쳐 주신대로 사람들이 하나님을 예배하기를 원했습니다.
Moses climbed to the top of the mountain to listen to God.
God told Moses, "The people are to build a special place for me.
Then I will live among my people."
There was no special place to worship God.
God told Moses about a special tent called a tabernacle.
The tabernacle would be the place to worship God.
God told Moses how the people were to bring gifts.
Moses listened very carefully to God.
Moses wanted the people to worship God only in the way God told them to worship.
