  그는 '불가지론자(不可知論者)'도, '합리론자'도 '무신자(無神者)'도 아니다. 어디에도 속하지 않음으로 다가서는, 도저히 불가해한 지점. 그곳은 오직 무명자(無名者)의 도착을 허락할 뿐이다. '파스칼의 내기'로 다 환원될 수 없는, 바깥의 '표상'. '실존적 차원'에 없지 않은 그곳은 결코 '도덕적 상징'일 수 없다. '개념적 철학의 표상' 너머, 전적으로 새로운 장소성.

  He is neither a skeptic nor a rationalist nor an atheist. It is an impossible point of arrival, where he does not belong anywhere. It is a place that only allows the arrival of the anonymous, beyond the outside "representation" that cannot be reduced to Pascal's wager. It is not a "moral symbol," as it exists in the existential dimension, beyond the "representations" of conceptual philosophy, a wholly new sense of place.

  '신국(神國)', '계급 없는 사회'라는 환상은 바깥이 없다. 이곳의 욕망으로 환원된 '추상적 관념'. 단순한 '알레고리'는, 단지 '도덕적 표상'에 머물 뿐이다. 그러나 '실존'적 불안을 성급한 이웃사랑으로 바꾸지 않는 용기. '불안정한 상황'을 홀로 견디는 차가운 열정은 '죽음' 앞에 선다. 끝까지 견지될 수 없는, 서늘한 의지. 불가능한 '성찰'은 전적으로 의심하며, 모든 걸 믿을 뿐이다.

  The fantasy of a "divine country" and a "classless society" has no outside. The abstract concept that is reduced to desire in this place is just a "simple allegory" that lingers only as a "moral symbol." However, courage does not replace existential anxiety with hasty neighborly love. The cold passion that endures the "unstable situation" stands before "death." A chilly will that cannot hold on until the end. The impossible "reflection" is entirely in doubt, believing in everything.
