우리가 보는 외부는 각자의 머리에서 만들어내는 환상이다. 세계는 각자의 환상에 의해 창조되는, 인간의 수만큼이나 많은 생의 전람회. 절대적 현상은 인간의 의지로 알아낼 수 없다, 단지 인간은 제각각의 결을 만들며 그 결을 따라 절대적인 것의 모습을 미루어 그려갈 뿐이다.

세계는 이 모든 것들을 아무 마음 없이 바라보는 견딤과 고매함이 있다. 한낮 인간의 환상이어도 무렴히 물그림자를 드리워주는 배포가 있다. 보이는 것은 작고 쉽지만, 보이지 않는 것은 크고 어려우니 길게 본다면 보이는 것보다 느리지만 보이지 않는 것을 지향하며 살아감이 옳겠다.

The external world we perceive is a mirage fashioned within our own minds. The world is an exhibition of lives, as numerous as humanity itself, each created by an individual’s own illusion. Absolute phenomena remain beyond the reach of human will; we merely weave our own unique patterns and, following those threads, attempt to trace the silhouette of the absolute.

The world possesses a selfless generosity and nobility, watching over all of this with an unfettered heart. It has the magnanimous heart to cast a reflection upon the water even for the shadows of human fantasies. What is visible is small and easy, while what is invisible is vast and profound. In the long run, it is right to live aspiring toward the invisible—even if it is slower than chasing the seen.
