가을엔
그대에게 편지를 씁니다
파란 하늘 한 장을 꺼내
햇살로 꾹꾹 눌러 담고
낙엽으로 봉투를 접어
달빛 우체통에 넣어 둡니다
비에 젖지 말고
바람에 흩어지지 말고
그대 창가에 내려앉아
하루를 물들이는 단풍이 되길
보고 싶다, 그 말이
그대 귓가에 닿았으면 좋겠어요
사랑한다, 그 말이
그대 잠 속에 머물면 좋겠어요

In autumn
I write a letter to you
I take a page from the blue sky
press sunlight deep into its lines
fold it gently with fallen leaves
and leave it in the moonlit mailbox
Don’t let the rain blur its words

may it land by your window
turning your day the color of maple
“I miss you,” the words whisper
