아이들 장난처럼 전쟁을 시작한다.
핵 시설을 위협하고 아이들의 학교와 병원에 폭탄을 투하한다.
전쟁은 여기도 있다.
아직도 자유롭지 못한 미국의 흑인들
신호 대기 중에 검문에 걸려 반항하다 살해당하고
일을 마치고 자신의 집에서 아이스크림을 먹다, 아래층 사는 경찰이 실수로 들어와선 오히려 침입자라며 쏜 권총을 맞은 사람도 있었고
의료보험이 필요해 남의 주소지를 빌려 쓴 흑인 어린 소녀는 5년형을 받아 감옥에 수감되었다.
Black Lives Matter를 외치며 거리에 나왔지만
White Lives Matter 나 All Lives Matter로 응수하며 맞불을 놓는다.
이 곡을 들을 때마다
과연 내년엔 더 좋은 세상이 될까 생각한다.
