제주도 여행 가기 전에 써둔 글-- 작가의 서랍속에서
발견해서 3년만에 올려봅니다.
주님, 이제는 진짜 믿음의 배우자를 만나게 해주세요!
당신을 가장 사랑하고 그 다음으로 자신의 배우자를 아끼고
소중하게 여기는 사람,
그 마음의 중심에 하나님이 있는 사람
저를 외롭게 하지 않을 그를 만나게 해주세요.
자신의 연약함을 탓하기보다
독생자를 내어줄 만큼 우리를 사랑하셔서
모든 것을 우리에게 내어주신
강한 주님을 더 바라보고,
주님께 힘을 구하는 강한 믿음을 가진 그를 만나게 하소서!
저의 장점을 살려주고
말을 따뜻하고 예쁘게 하는 사람이길...
그가 가진 감성이 감수성이 풍부한 제가 주눅들지 않고
시너지를 낼 수 있는 저와 코드가 맞는 사람이길..
현실의 문제에 너무 갇혀서
세상적이고 냉소적이지 않고
하나님을 신뢰하고, 주님을 바라보고
현실에서도 노력을 하며
차디찬 세상에서 주눅들지 않고 세상에 도전할 줄 아는
용기있는 자이길..
강자 앞에서 비굴하지 않고
약자 앞에서 그를 도와줄 줄 아는 정의로운 마음을 가진 자이길..
문제가 생길 때 함께 손잡고 기도하고,
함께 주님을 찬양하며, 함께 웃을 수 있는 사람이길..
힘든 상황을 인내할 수 있는 단단한 사람이길..
내 모습 그대로를 사랑해주는 그런 사람이길..
비록 나이가 들어가, 노쇠해지더라도
함께 나이가 들며,
육체가 초라해져도 영원한 하늘나라를 함께 소망하며
같은 곳을 바라보며 갈 수 있는 자이길..
내 감정을 헤아려주고
내가 너무 노력하지 않아도
그냥 나를 많이 아끼고, 사랑하고 있다는 게
느껴질 수 있는 편안한 사람이길...
함께 믿음의 가정을 이뤄갈 수 있는 믿음의 배우자를 허락해주세요!
Lord,
please lead me to a life partner who truly lives by faith.
Someone who loves You above all,
and then cherishes and honors their spouse with a sincere heart—
a person whose life is centered on You.
Please guide me to someone who will not leave me feeling alone.
Instead of blaming his own weaknesses, may he look to You— the strong and loving God
who gave His only Son out of love for us.
May he have a strong faith that seeks strength from You in all circumstances.
May he be someone who brings out the best in me, who speaks with warmth and kindness.
Someone whose emotional depth and sensitivity can harmonize with mine,
so that we may grow together in understanding.
May he not be trapped by the harsh realities of this world, nor become cynical or cold,
but instead trust in You, continue to strive in reality, and face the world with courage
without shrinking back.
May he be a person who is not weak before the strong,
but shows compassion and justice toward the weak.
When difficulties arise, may we hold hands and pray together, praise You together,
and find joy together.
May he be strong enough to endure through hardship.
May he love me just as I am.
Even as we grow older, as our bodies fade with time,
may we continue to hope in Your eternal kingdom together,
looking toward the same place, walking the same path.
May he be someone who understands my heart,
someone with whom I can feel loved without having to try too hard—
a person who gives me peace and comfort.
Lord,
please bless me with a life partner
with whom I can build a faithful family in You.
