그게 지금 걱정인게 다시 처음부터 시작하는 그런 느낌이 들고 있어
그런데 여기서 델타 변이 바이러스가 뭐야
영국 변이 남아공 변이 이렇게 지역 이름 쓰고
알파 변이 베타 변이 이것도 쓰고 지금 혼용되어 있잖아
그래서 좀 정리해서 한번 얘기 해줄게
코로나 바이러스 자체가 워낙 여러가지인데
그 중에서 요번에 코로나19 바이러스가 있는 거잖아
이 코로나 바이러스가 가만히 있는게 아니라
모든 바이러스는 그렇지만 계속 변이가 생길 수가 있어
아주 미세한 단백질 변화가 생기면서
그러면서 종이라는 것은 계속 발전하고 퇴화하기도 하고
이렇게 하면서 진화 과정을 거치는 거니까
근데 코로나19 바이러스는 요번에 병원성이 더 심한 변이들이 있는데
그게 이번에 제일 대표적으로 나왔던 게
영국발 변이 그거를 알파라고 이름을 지었던 거고
남아공에서 나왔던 변이를 베타 변이라고 이름을 지었던 거고
브라질에서 나온거 감마 변이도 있어
요번에 이제 병원성이 갑자기 올라갔다고 얘기 나오는 게
인도발 변이의 델타 바이러스
델타 변이 바이러스가 지금 굉장히 위협을 주고 있지
자세히 이제 변이의 과정을 살펴보면
코로나19 바이러스가 문제가 된 게
2020년 1월 부터 문제가 됐잖아
그 때 이후로 이미 발견된 바이러스만
수 천 개 이상이야 변이 바이러스 들이
그 중에서 문제가 되는 바이러스 들이
2020년 10월에 인도에서 처음 발견된
델타 바이러스가 문제가 되는데 정확한 공식 명칭은
코로나19 변종 B 1.617.2 변종이라는 거야
그만큼 숫자가 여러개 붙었던 얘기는
그 사이에 엄청 여러 개의 변이 바이러스들이 있어 왔다는 거지
근데 그 중에서 상당 부분은 퍼지는 속도나
이런 게 낮아져서 없어지기도 하고
너무 중하면 몇 명한테 퍼지다가 그냥 끝나기도 하고
그런데 코로나19 바이러스 특성처럼 잘 퍼지면서
조금 시간이 지난 다음에 중증도를 일으키거나 이러면
이게 엄청 위험한 바이러스로 가게 되는 거지
델타 변이 바이러스에 걸리면 어떤 증세가 나타나?
이게 전파 속도도 빠르지만 증상도 심해
기존 코로나19 바이러스보다
복통 구토 식욕 상실 청력상실 증상이 나타나기도 하고
관절통증 이런 일반적으로 열 오한 이런 증상들보다
기타 증상들이 더 심하게 나타나고
델타 바이러스만 문제가 되는게 아니라
요즘에는 베트남에서 새로운 변이 바이러스가 나타났다고도 하고
변이 문제는 계속 문제가 되고 있어
혹시 국내에서도 이런 변이 바이러스가 문제가 있어?
일단 국내는 변이 바이러스가 확인된 게 한 2000건 정도 있거든
그런데 그 중에서 한 84%는 알파 변이 바이러스
그러니까 영국발 변이 바이러스가 대부분을 차지하고 있고
지금 외국이랑 왔다갔다 하는 게
조금씩 우리가 풀리고 있는 과정에 있었잖아
그러면서 2주 격리과정 거치고 하면서 하긴 했지만
그래도 어디선가 통해서 들어오는 것을
완전히 막기는 어려울 수도 있다
최근에 영국에서는 하루 확진자가 만 명 넘게 확 올라갔다가
1600명까지 떨어졌었거든
그러면서 영국도 아스트라제네카 많이 맞고 이러면서
효과가 있어서 죽 줄지 않느냐라고 했는데
이 델타 변이 바이러스가 퍼지면서
지금 만 명을 넘어갔대 하루 확진자 수가
그 중에서 80% 이상이 델타 변이 바이러스라고 확인 된 거 보니까
백신을 맞았어도 전파 속도가 너무 빨라가지고
더 늘어나는 게 아니냐
그래서 세계보건기구 WHO 에 수석과학자 분이 요번에
기자회견 하면서 그 얘기를 했거든
델타 변이 이게 엄청난 전염력이 있기 때문에
앞으로 세계를 지배하는 변종이 될 수도 있다
되는 과정에 있는 것으로 보인다 라고
로이터 연합 통신을 통해서 기자회견을 했어
모든 언론에서 바이러스는
델타가 지배할 것이다 라는 기사가 너무 많아
그만큼 전파력도 세고 병원성도 세다는 거지
전파력만 세고 전염성만 크게 나쁘지 않으면
백신만 빨리 맞고 방어만 된다면 크게 문제가 안 될 거잖아
근데 전파력도 세고 병원성도 세다 그러면
그만큼 우리에게 또 위협이 되는 거지
우리나라가 아스트라제네카 화이자 얀센 많이 맞았잖아
그럼 맞은 분들은 괜찮아
자 그 얘기를 하려면 일단 영국의 사례를
조금 더 자세히 들여다 볼 필요가 있어
일단 영국에서는 인구의 절반 가까이가 2회 접종을 마친 상태야
그래서 최근에 6월 21일 기준으로 사회적 거리두기도 해제를 하고
조금 더 완화시키는 과정에 있었는데
그래서 하루 1600명 확진까지 줄어 들었단 말이야
근데 갑자기 최근에 델타 변이 바이러스가 갑자기 확 퍼지면서
하루 확진자가 만명이 넘어가는 상황이 된거야
근데 그 중에 신규 확진자의 90%가
델타 바이러스로 확인이 되고 있다는 거야
그만큼 코로나 백신을 맞은 사람들에서도 퍼지고 있거나
아니면 맞지 않은 사람들에서 퍼지는 속도가 너무 빨라서
확진자가 늘어나는 효과도 있을 수 있다는 거지
또 영국만 그런게 아니라 러시아도 지금 심각한데
러시아에서도 최근에 모스크바에서 최근 신규 확진자가
9000명이 넘어갔다고
불과 한 2주 전만 해도 3000명 까지 떨어졌다 그랬는데
갑자기 3배로 폭증을 해 버린거야
최근 신규 확진자의 90%가 델타 변이 바이러스 라고
그렇게 알려지고 있어
그러면 여러 백신이 있는데
그 중에 델타 변이 바이러스에 예방율이 높은 게 뭐야?
일단 지금까지 연구가 나온 거는 화이자 랑
아스트라제네카 까지 일단 나와 있거든
모더나와 얀센 백신은 아직은 조금 데이터가 부족하다고 되어 있어
화이자나 아스트라제네카 같은 경우는
델타 변이 바이러스에 효과가 있다는 연구가 영국에서 일단 나왔거든
일단 베타 변이 바이러스는 알파 변이 보다는 감염 시에
입원치료를 받을 확률이 두 배나 높을 정도로 병원성이 높은데
델타 변이 바이러스에 대해서 화이자 백신을
2차 까지 다 맞은 사람이 14일이 지났을 때는
델타 변이 예방 효과가 79% 까지
그리고 알파 변이에 대해서는 92% 까지
이렇게 방어 효과가 있는 걸로 나왔고
아스트라제네카 백신도 효과가 있다고 나왔는데
델타 변이는 60% 정도 예방이 된다고 나왔고
델타 변이에 대해서는 화이자 보다는 좀 떨어지는거지
알파 변이에 대한 예방 효과는 79%
화이자 보다는 좀 떨어지는 걸로
하지만 델타 변이 알파 변이에 대해서
어느 정도 예방 효과는 가지고 가는 걸로
확인이 되고 있어 지금까지는
일단 우리가 해야 될 것은
지금 우리가 마음이 좀 많이 해이해졌잖아
백신 많이 맞고 이러면서
이제는 끝날 때가 되었다 해서
여행도 많이 가고 다음에 친구들 만나고
점포 운영 시간도 12시까지 늘어나고
물론 민생의 문제가 있기 때문에
그런 부분이 충분히 이해가 되는 부분이 있지만
보건적인 부분에서는 아직은 델타 변이 바이러스가
이렇게 갑자기 득세를 하는 상황에서는
긴장을 늦출 상황은 아닌 게 되어 버렸어
다시 시작이 되는 느낌이 있기 때문에
그래서 지금 제일 중요한 건
백신을 빨리 국민들이 맞아서
델타 변이가 들어와도 중증도 낮고
감염률도 줄어드는 상황으로
만들어 주는 게 되게 중요하다
거의 지금 바이러스의 변이 발전 속도와
인간의 백신 빨리 맞는 속도하고
경쟁되는 그런 느낌으로 지금 가고 있다는 것
전세계적으로 지금 힘을 합쳐야 될 것 같아
우리나라에서 접종률을 높이는 것도 중요하지만
개발도상국이나 저개발 국가에 선진국에서 남는 백신을
빨리빨리 옮겨 줘서 백신 스와핑이라고 하지
그렇게 해서 저개발 국가에서도
델타 변이가 퍼지는 것을 막아줘 야 될
전 인류 적인 의무가 있는 거지
그런 초 국가적인 결정들이 필요할 것 같고
델타 변이 바이러스가 국내 상륙해서 퍼지는 순간
상당 부분에 방어가 풀려 버릴 수도 있다
백신을 최대한 빨리 맞는 것이 중요하다
델타 플러스도 나왔대
일단 인도 보건 당국에서 새로운 코로나19 변이 바이러스를
발견했다고 얘기하고 있는데
델타 플러스 라고 이름을 명명하기로 했대
그리고 이 바이러스를 우려 변이로 규정을 했거든
지금 델타 플러스 변이에 감염된 사례가
마하라슈트라 주 등 3개의 주에서
20건 이상이 발견됐다 라고 얘기하고 있는데
이 델타 플러스가 인도 발 델타 변이 바이러스 보다
더 위험할 수 있기 때문에 주의해야 된다 라는 얘기가
이제 나오기 시작했거든
일단 이게 바이러스와 인간의 싸움 같애
우리 예전에 그런 얘기했잖아
바이러스 감기가 인류를 멸종 시킬 수도 있다
그런 얘기들이 있었잖아
바이러스가 점점 더 심해지고 독감 이런 것들도 나타나고
근데 이번에 코로나19가 아주 무섭게 지금
변이 까지 나타나고 있는 거지
근데 그 변이가 그냥 알파 베타 감마가 아니라
델타가 나오고 델타 플러스가 나오고
인류도 그거에 대해서 지금 백신 이라는
너무 좋은 무기를 개발해 냈지만
빠르게 접종을 하지 않으면
이 바이러스의 변이를 못 따라갈 수 있기 때문에
지금은 전 세계적인 초 세계적인 협력이 필요하다
그리고 개개인도 마스크 잘 쓰고 손 잘 씻고
사회적 거리 두기를 더 유지할 필요가 있다는 얘기를
다시 한 번 할 수 밖에 없다
