Pokemon craze at its height!

Snorlax wakes up zombies out of  office.

One of the critical things about creating any content whether that be blog or video is the timing.
It has to come in a timing when it's still a hot topic. In that sense, this posting fails miserably, now that Pokemon craze is somewhat lukewarm in this island.

But as to leave a bit of memory on my activities, I still "drop" this blog. (actually there are quite a lot still in my archive waiting to be published, but due to my laziness, not meeting their due dates.

It was this one sunny day in Taipei and I caught some of the most craved pokemons in one day.

1. Snorlax

This is a huge pokemon who is lethargic like myself or a panda. The locals call it "Kabishou(卡比獸)" which originated from Japanese name of the character "Kabigon."
Due to its humongous cuteness like panda on top of its rarity, Taiwanese just went crazy about this animal.
When you take a look at this clip, you wonder if World War Z didn't erupt in this peaceful island.

Anyway, this day, Matt, my colleague who sits next to me, literally yelled out loud in the office the name.'
"Kabishou!"
Other passionate pokemon chasers start responding. By now you can easily guess there's at least one who took the bait.
But there were only 5 min left till it disappears and the distance was about 5 min distance! So the race was about to begin!!

On our way to the spot, we see some people trickling down out of the buildings and gathering from all directions.
By the time we reached the intersection, we already see some people, there were already the "zombies" who sniffed the whiff of another monster they gotta get the bite out of.

I can't refute that that pack of motorcycles are totally irrelevant. :P

But of course for this blogger, I gotta get the slice of this scene first, "even" before I can pouch this stuff.

Now there he is. What a cherubic face he has. "Welcome to catch me" kind of face.

Thankfully we all caught him alright.
My friend, Matt, he brought another phone of our colleague for "proxy" catch.

2. Pikachu

I still have a sore heart thinking about the last (at the same time, the very first) encounter with Pikachu.
I used all the items I could (from those berries to ultraballs) to catch him, just to see him get away with that adorable face.

But the luck comes altogether on the same day.
On my way home, coincidentally detected that it is nearby the station! So I took two disciples(?) to tag along with me.

There he is...

Won't let you get away this time~!

So there's first to everything. I just got my first Pikachu!

It's been a while since I caught a new one...
Unless there's a major renewal on the feature side.. think there won't be many zombies craving for pokemon.
