5 AM Club - Day 01
Reading a book <Courage to be Disliked>, I thought of how to live 'Right Now, Right Here' in my daily life. And the first thing is to wake up at 5 am and to get myself ready for a day by 20-min physical exercise, 20-min spiritual meditation, and 20-min brain acitivity.
Today, I just started my day at around 5 am, then read the book on the bed for about 30 minutes. It was an amazing feeling to see the sun rising, which made me feel that I was welcoming the sun.
Then, I woke up and made a bed, where I slept for 7 hours. It used to be a somewhat hassle chore of the day, but I felt differently this morning. I felt like I was tidying up my mind as I was tying up my bed. It was a small win that I can easily achieve in my daily life.
Since the gym is not open until 7 am, I took a hot shower with Youtube speech. As one of my friends said, hot shower is walking up the body. Now I could understand what he meant. It was a kind of meditation to feel the water all over the naked body. It was natural and warm.
After warming up my body, I put on some warm clothes to keep the heat, then headed to the kitchen for my lovely cappucino because coffee is one of the perfect items to start a day with. And I realized making a coffe can be also an important ritual for a day: warming the milk, getting coffee from the espresso machine, adding whipping cream, and holding it for a while on my both hands.
And now I am writing how I feel and what I've been doing since I woke up at 5 am.
Soon, I will go up to my office and start working for today. Well, please wish me a luck for me to live 'Right Now, Right Here' today.
