다윗과 요나단처럼, 친구들과 잘 지내는 아이들이 되게 하소서

사랑의 하나님

우리 아이들이, 학교와 학원 등에서

친구들과 좋은 우정을 나누며 성장하게 하소서.

우리 아이들이 친구들과 잘 지내길 바라오며

각자 먼저 앞서려는 이기적인 마음을 버리게 하시고

다윗과 요나단처럼 서로의 장점을 발견하고 이해하며

서로 기댈 수 있는 좋은 친구 관계가 되게 하소서.

서로를 배려하고 세워주는, 아이들의 우정 속에서

깊은 사랑이 싹트고

'너희가 서로 사랑하면

이로써 모든 사람이 너희가 내 제자 인줄 알리라' 하셨던 말씀처럼

사랑을 나누며 살아가는 우리 아이들을 보면서

예수님의 제자가 확실하다고 여기게 하시고

어디를 가든지 많은 이들에게 사랑과 복음을 전하는

하나님의 귀한 자녀로 성장하게 하소서.

가장 낮은 자세로 서로를 세워주며

아이들 모두가 사랑 안에서 하나 되어 살아가는

복된 하나님의 자녀로 살아가게 하소서.

May our children get along well with their friends like David and Jonathan.

Heavenly Father,
Loving God, we lift up our children to You, asking that they may grow in friendship and harmony with their peers at school, at learning centers, and wherever they go.

Lord, help them lay aside selfish ambitions and, like David and Jonathan, recognize and appreciate one another’s strengths, forming friendships where they can support and lean on each other. May their relationships be marked by care, encouragement, and love, so that deep bonds of affection flourish among them.

As they share love with one another, may they reflect the truth of Your Word: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Let their friendships bear witness to Jesus’ love, confirming them as His faithful disciples. Wherever they go, may they be a blessing, spreading Your love and the Gospel to many.

Grant them humility to lift each other up, and unite them in love, that they may live as blessed children of God.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
