다음세대 선교를 위한 외국어 번역 기도문 12

외모로 사람을 평가하지 아니하고 서로 존중하는 아이들이 되게 하소서

세상 모든 것을 아름답게 창조하시고

보기 좋으셨다고 하셨던 우리 하나님

다음 세대와 우리 아이들이

외모에 관심을 많이 갖기 시작하는 시기에

다른 친구들의 겉모습을 쉽게 평가하고

외모만을 중요시하는 마음을 내려놓게 하소서.

하나님께서 우리를 있는 모습 그대로

사랑으로 기뻐하시며 창조하셨던 것처럼

우리 아이들도 다른 친구들의 모습 그대로

존중하며 서로 사랑하게 하소서.

친구들 중에 나와 다른 생각을 가졌다고

친구들 중에 몸이 불편하거나 약한 친구가 있다고

함부로 괴롭히거나, 따돌리는 죄악된 마음을 모두 버리게 하시고

이 땅에 약하고 힘든 자들을 위해

돌봐주시고, 사랑해 주셨던 예수님의 마음을 깨달아

오히려 우리 아이들이

앞장서서 어려운 친구들을 보호하고 도와주고 사랑하여

하나님으로부터 ‘어려운 자를 잘 돕는구나 착하도다’ 칭찬받는

거룩한 하나님의 자녀들로 자라나게 하소서.

May our children not judge others by their appearance but respect one another.

Heavenly Father,
You who created all things beautifully and declared them good, we lift up our children and the next generation to You. As they enter the age where appearance begins to draw their attention, help them not to judge others by outward looks or place undue value on appearances.

Just as You love and delight in us as we are, may our children learn to respect and love their friends for who they truly are. Teach them to reject any sinful attitudes of bullying, exclusion, or harsh judgment toward those who think differently, or those who are weak or have difficulties.

May they reflect the heart of Jesus, who cared for and loved the vulnerable. Let our children lead in protecting, helping, and loving those in need, and may they grow to be holy children of God, receiving Your praise: “Well done, good and faithful servant, for caring for the least of these.”

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ.
