다음세대 선교를 위한 외국어 번역 기도문 17

악한 말은 하지 않고, 주님만 증언하는 아이들이 되게 하소서

은혜롭고 인자하신 하나님

점점 세상이 불평과 불만으로 가득 차고

내 생각과 다르면, 욕까지도 하는 거친 세상입니다.

우리 아이들이 학교에서나 학원 어디서나

불평불만이 많고, 악한 말을 하는 사람을 만나면

우리 아이들도 맞받아쳐 함께 욕을 하지 않게 하시고

오히려 넓은 마음으로 그들을 이해하고 사랑하며

평강과 행복을 나누어 줄 수 있는 따뜻함을 갖게 하소서.

많은 사람들이 ‘악은 악으로 갚으라’고 속삭여도

우리 아이들은 망설임 없이

‘우리 같이 죄에 빠진 자들을

자녀 삼아주시고, 영생을 주시고

기도를 들어주시고, 늘 주야로 보살펴주시는

하나님 큰 은혜에 내가 감격하여

그 사랑을 당신께 전하고 싶어서

이렇게 불평불만하는 당신도 사랑하지 않을 수 없다’고

담대히 고백할 수 있는

거룩한 우리 자녀들이 될 수 있도록 하시옵소서.

May our children refrain from speaking evil and testify only about the Lord.

Gracious and merciful God,
In a world growing harsher with complaints and harsh words, we lift up our children to You. May they walk in Your love and truth, speaking only words that glorify You.

When they encounter people who grumble or speak cruelly at school, in their studies, or elsewhere, may they not respond in kind. Instead, give them a generous heart to understand, forgive, and share peace and joy with others.

Even when others whisper, “Repay evil with evil,” let our children boldly proclaim:
“I am overwhelmed by the great grace of God, who calls even sinners His children, grants eternal life, hears our prayers, and watches over us day and night. I cannot help but love others as He has loved me.”

Lord, make them holy children who witness Your love in every word they speak, bringing glory to Your name.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
