We use a present perfect progressive to show an action that started in the past and has continued into the present. ‘actiion’은 양손을 달리듯일 옆으로 흔들어 준다. ‘in the past’는 손바닥을 펴고 그 손의 어개 너머로 넘긴 후 살짝 흔들어 준다. ‘has continued’는 손바닥을 자신의 몸 앞쪽에서 펼친 후 앞으로 물결치듯이 이동해 준다. “into the present’는 주먹 쥐고 자신의 몸 앞에서 2~3번 허공 아래를 향해 두드려 준다.
How do we make a present perfect progressive?
To make a present perfect progressive, we need “have been” or “has been” and “verb~ing”. “to make”는 두 손을 서로 마주 보고 벌린 후 하나의 작은 공을 잡고 있듯 한 자세에서 앞뒤로 서로 교차해서 비틀어 준다. ‘have been’과 ‘has been’은 제스처가 동일한데 알파벳 H을 상징하는 검지와 중지만 세운 상태에서 손끝 방향으로 두 손가락을 지면과 나란히 되도록 해준다. ‘or’는 한 손으로 뒷 고리가 긴 V를 그려준다.
