셀 수 없는 명사의 비교와 셀 수 있는 명사의 비교 방법을 지도해 보자.

One book, two books, three books….. a book is a countable noun. 책 한 권, 책 두권, 책 세권..... 책은 셀 수 있는 명사이다.

Q: What is a Non-count noun? 셀 수 없는 명사는 무엇이지?

A: Non-count noun cannot count. 셀 수 없는 명사는 셀 수 없다.

milk, juice, water, food…. ;they are non-count nouns. 우유, 주스, 물, 음식..... 이것들은 셀 수 없는 명사다.

(Gesture:When do we use fewer or more? ‘fewer’는 엄지부터 중지까지 순서대로 접어 준다. ‘more’는 오른손의 바닥이 지면을 향하게 하고 자신의 머리 높이만큼 손을 올려 준다.

We use fewer or more to compare countable nouns. ‘compare’는 두 손 바닥이 지면을 향하고 왼손과 오른손의 검지를 살짝 부딪혀 준다. ‘countable noun’은 손가락들을 펼친 후 서로 맞닿게 한 후 구부려 알파벳 C를 만들어 주고 바로 주먹을 쥐어 준다.
