70. What does “be going to” mean?

숙어처럼 미래를 나타내는 말들을 알아 두면 회화의 다양성을 키워 준다. 가까운 미래를 의미하는 ‘be going to’에 대한 내용을 알아보자.

A verb is an action word. 동사는 동작을 나타내는 말이다. A verb can tell the time; present tense- past tense- future tense. 동사는 시간을 말해 준다. 현재 시제, 과거 시제, 미래 시제

To make a future tense, we need “will” in front of a verb. 미래 시제를 만들기 위해서는 동사 앞에 ‘will’이 필요하다.

“be going to” means “will”. It shows very close future. 그것은 ‘will’을 뜻한다. 그것은 가까운 미래를 보여준다.

We have to change “be-verb” depending on subject. 주어에 따라 비 동사를 바꿔 줘야 한다.

I will watch TV. I am going to watch TV. 나는 TV를 볼 것이다. (중략)
