76. When do we use “while”?

‘While’ 사용법을 알아보자.

We use “while” to connect two sentences. It shows that the two things are happening at the same time. 우리는 두 문장을 연결하기 위해 ‘while’을 사용한다. 두 사건이 동시에 일어나는 것을 보여 준다.

Jimmy was reading a book. Jimmy는 책을 읽고 있다. May was watching TV. May는 TV를 보고 있다.

Jimmy was reading a book while May was watching TV.

Jimmy는 May가 TV를 보고 있는 동안에 책을 읽고 있다.

‘while’이라는 개념을 이해했다면 다음과 같이 영어로 말할 수 있어야 하고 또한 예시문까지 정확하게 말할 수 있어야 한다.
