Movie : Photojournalist

Between killing time and quality range

It was a good time for me.

On Saturday, I wanted to watch a movie on Netflix. I like to relax on TV because I had a lot of time. I skipped numerous clips. Suddenly the title “Photojournalist” hits my mind.

Synopsys says it covers the life of 22-year-old dead young journalist Dan Eldon.

Death brings sorrow. The passing of a young man is sadder than the death of an old man.

Anyway, I start watching movies that deal with a very pitiful ending.

Intro showcases a wide and vibrant African continent with very beautiful landscapes.

Teenage friends go on a trip in a big jeep to help refugees who have stayed in the camp.

During their travels, they experience splendid African nature and occasionally encounter wildlife such as elephants, hypocrites, and lions. Seeing live animals in nature is an enchanting feeling. The day is dazzling and the night is twinkling with starry stars.

Traditional African music adds life to the story.

He likes to take a picture. He realizes that just one photo is more powerful than other words.

He saw disastrous African difficulty and conflict, which not covered the outside world.

How hard and dangerous he wants to access the site for filming to show the audience.

I understand his passion for the truth but concern about his risk of opening to danger.

As a producer, I also sometimes contemplate whether to shoot in a dangerous situation or not.

once, I had a hard time filming in Africa.

We tried to cover a Congo mineral mine, but mine workers misunderstood our shooting. They attack us and are hostile. They surrounded our jeep and threatened the police escort vehicle as well. The eyes of many angry workers were hostile. I was so surprised and panicked in the car.

We managed to get out of the site. The mob thought we and the police were trying to take their mines.

Sometimes it is difficult for reporters to get to the scene itself.

It is more difficult where there are conflicts, wars, eruptions, and natural disasters.

Unfortunately, Dan Eldon died too young before the talent blossomed.

But his passion for the truth still lives on in photography and film.

I was so impressed with this movie, that why I suggest it.
