The subway logo is the combination of the letters BDG that stands for 北京地铁公司 [běi jīng dìt iě gong sī] which translates to Beijing Subway Company, but people just call it 地铁 [dì tiě] subway.

These zombies are a prominent issue in the subway. Staff placed stickers on the floor warning to look up and avoid accidents.

Getting out in the morning for a quick stop at the local shop in the Beijing city center? Need some fresh air or to take the dog out in the evening before going to bed? Would you wear your cozy, comfortable pajamas? Back in the day, not everyone could afford fancy pajamas. The show off yours, you had no other choice than to walk outside strutting around in that silky-smooth sleepwear. Today this is frowned upon, but personally I love to see people feeling this comfortable outside in their own neighborhood.
