Hello, nice to meet you.
I'm Jason Ahn a new member of SL Tennessee.
I have a lot of connections in America. Because I also worked for an American company before joining SL. Of course, my workplace was in Korea, but I have more than 10 years of experience working at Delphi, an automotive parts manufacturer spun off by GM in Kokomo, Indiana.
First, let me introduce myself briefly.
I majored in electronic engineering at Inha University in Korea, and did M.B.A. at Hanyang University with the scholarship supported by the company when I attended Delphi.
At this time, I acquired basic knowledge of engineering and management.
After graduating in 1987, I first learned job at Samsung Electronics, and after that,
I worked at GM Korea Technology Research Institute because I had a will in the automotive industry, and now I have been working here in this company because I was connected to SL in 2011.
I've lived in the United States for many months while working for an American company Delphi, and I've learned how to work with American thinking by working with many Americans.
At that time, I worked better in the American way than an American, so I was promoted to an executive position after 5 years in this company. ~^^
Therefore, I have the basic skills to achieve harmony and growth for all of us.
There are many challenges and crisis factors, but life is more dynamic and beautiful.
When you set a goal, implement it, and achieve it, you feel a sense of accomplishment and your happiness increases. Life becomes more enjoyable at work as well as at home.
In a way, we're all the same. It's a human being who split from the same ancestor before being American or Korean. It is not distinguished as an American or a Korean, but an SL family living the same life under the same roof with a common goal.
So I will make sure that all members are evaluated solely based on their competence and performance within the framework of SL. Everyone should be able to do what suits their role and mission.
No one is born into the world with plans or goals. So humans also experience a lot of pain and frustration in their lives. Even if there is heaven, heaven is not better enough to give up your present life and go to heaven. This is why we all have to try to understand each other in order to live as fun and happy as possible while living as suffering beings who suddenly fell on the planet Earth.
The irony is that life drifts if you don't have a goal, even if you're not born in the world with a plan or a goal. It is a human attribute to feel a sense of accomplishment and presence in the process of carrying out it with a goal, and to feel a thrilling sense of happiness due to increased satisfaction.
We all have a common goal. I hope everyone will move forward with one mind, so that individual growth can take place on the journey toward that goal, and live a better today than yesterday. I'll take the lead first.
All responsibilities will stop at my desk. You can do your job with confidence.
It is also my most important role to help all your goals lead to personal growth and happiness.
Before arriving, I like to give you a brief introduction. I'll see you next week.

안녕하십니까 반갑습니다.
새로 SL Tennessee 에 합류 하게 Jason Ahn 입니다.
미국은 저하고 인연이 참 많은 것 같습니다. 왜냐하면 12년 전에는 저도 미국 회사에서 일했기 때문입니다.
물론 근무지는 한국 이었지만 본사가 인디아나주 Kokomo 에 있는 GM 에서 분사한 자동차 종합부품업체인 Delphi 라는 곳에서 10년 넘게 일한 경험이 있습니다.
먼저 저에 대해 간단한 소개를 드리겠습니다. 저는 인하대학교에서 전자공학을 전공하고 Delphi 에 다닐 때 회사에서 지원해 주는 학자금으로 한양대학교에서 MBA 를 했습니다. 이때 공학과 경영에 대한 기본 지식을 습득하였습니다.
1987년 졸업 후 삼성전자에서 처음 일을 배웠고 이후 자동차 분야에 뜻이 있어 GM Korea 기술연구소에서 근무하다가 2011년에 SL 과 인연이 닿아 지금까지 일하고 있습니다.
미국회사에 다니며 여러 달씩 미국에 살아본 적도 있고 많은 미국인들과 함께 호흡을 맞춰 일 하면서 미국식 사고와 일하는 법을 배웠습니다. 그때 제가 미국 사람보다도 더 미국식으로 일을 잘해서 입사 5년만에 임원으로 승진하였습니다. ~^^ 따라서 우리 모두의 화합과 성장을 이루어 낼 수 있는 기본기를 갖추고 있습니다.
많은 도전과 위기 요인들이 있지만 그래서 삶은 더 역동적이고 아름답습니다. 목표를 세우고 그것을 실행하며 달성해 나갈 때 성취감을 느끼고 행복도가 증가 합니다. 회사에서는 물론 가정에서도 삶이 더 즐거워 지게 됩니다
어찌 보면 우리 모두는 같은 존재입니다. 미국인 또는 한국인이기에 앞서 같은 조상에게서 갈라진 인간이라는 생명체입니다. 미국인 또는 한국인으로 구별되는 것이 아니라 공동의 목표를 가지고 같은 지붕 아래에서 같은 삶을 살아가는 SL Family 입니다.
그래서 저는 모든 구성원이 SL 이라는 틀 안에서 오로지 자신의 역량과 성과에 따라 평가 받을 수 있도록 할 것입니다. 한국인은 이런 일을 하고 미국인은 저런 일을 하는 것이 아니라 자신의 역할과 임무에 걸맞는 일을 할 수 있도록 해야 합니다.
어느 누구도 계획하거나 목표를 가지고 세상에 태어나지 않습니다. 그래서 살면서 많은 고통과 좌절을 겪기도 합니다. 천국이 있다고 하여도 현재의 삶을 포기 하고 천국에 갈 만큼 천국이 더 좋지도 않습니다. 이것이 우리 모두 서로를 이해하려 노력하고 어느 날 갑자기 지구라는 별에 떨어진 고통받는 존재로서 사는 동안 최대한 즐겁고 행복한 삶을 살아야 하는 이유이기도 합니다.
아이러니한 것은 계획하거나 목표를 가지고 세상에 태어나지 않았어도 살면서는 목표가 없으면 삶이 표류한다는 것입니다. 목표를 가지고 그것을 실행하는 과정에서 성취감과 존재감을 느끼며 만족도가 높아져 짜릿한 행복감을 느끼는 것이 인간의 속성입니다.
우리 모두는 공동의 목표를 가지고 있습니다. 그 목표를 향해 나아가는 여정에 개인의 성장이 이루어지고 어제 보다 더 나은 오늘을 살수 있도록 모두가 한 마음으로 나아가길 바랍니다. 제가 먼저 앞장 서겠습니다.
모든 책임은 제 책상에서 멈출 것입니다. 여러분은 여러분의 일을 자신감 있게 해 나가시면 됩니다.
여러분 모두의 목표가 개인의 성장과 행복으로 이어지도록 돕는 것이 저의 가장 중요한 역할 이기도 합니다.
