Remember
Those shining moments?
Like the arrival of winter.
Cold breeze tickling the tip of our noses
With its fresh winter scent
That shakes up the dormant memories
Buried deeply at their core.
Some need to be stitched up
Piece by piece with time.
Some need to be caressed
Like a soft small cat.
And some need to be rediscovered
Like diamonds in the rough.
But I am too busy
And cannot even enjoy this moment.
I don't have time to take a walk
And greet the arrival of the winter
And all the wonderful presents it brings along.
The warmth from the hand of a loved one,
Their smiles with lovely rosy cheeks,
And their eyes beaming all the delights of the world!
I forget.
I forget again and again.
Tonight I close my eyes and try to remember
your beautiful bright smile
Resembling your favorite purple flowers.
It captivates and embraces my vacant world.
Soon my tiny heart blooms
Into a lovely winter garden
Filled with scents of those purple flowers
I am endowed with all these blessings
Just by remembering you.
And now with these blessing
I will stitch up where it's needed,
Caress what is needed,
And continue to rediscover
The true meanings of memories.

그 빛나는 순간을 기억하시나요?
겨울이 도착했을 때처럼
코끝을 간지럽히는 찬바람의 겨울향기는
내 안의 가장 깊숙이 잠들어 있던
기억들을 흔들어 깨웁니다.
어떤 기억들을 시간이 들여서
한 조각씩 꿰매줄 필요가 있습니다
또 어떤 것들은 부드럽고 작은 고양이처럼
쓰다듬어줘야 합니다.
그리고 또 어떤 것들은 진흙 속에 묻힌 진주들처럼
재발견되어야 합니다.
하지만 나는 너무 바빠서
지금 이 순간도 즐길 수가 없지요.
겨울과 그것이 가져오는 모든 멋진 선물들을
맞이하러 산책을 나갈 시간도 내지 못하고요.
사랑하는 사람의 손에서 전해지는 온기,
장밋빛 볼이 사랑스러운 그들의 미소,
그리고 세상의 모든 즐거움으로 빛나는 그들의 눈동자!
난 잊어버립니다.
잊어버리고 또 잊어버리고.
오늘밤 나는 눈을 감고
당신이 좋아하는 보라색 꽃을 닮은
당신의 아름다운 밝은 미소를
기억하려고 노력해 봅니다.
그 미소는 나의 텅 빈 세상을 사로잡고 꼭 안아줍니다.
이윽고 내 작은 마음은 보랏빛 꽃향기
가득한 사랑스러운 겨울정원으로 피어납니다.
나는 당신을 기억하는 것만으로도
이 모든 축복을 받았습니다.
이제 이 축복으로 나는
필요한 곳을 꿰매고
필요한 것을 어루만져 줄 것입니다
그리고 계속해서 기억의 진정한 의미를
재발견해 나갈 것입니다.
