마지막 때 | Difficult Times Ahead
1-5
순진하게 속아 넘어가지 마십시오. 힘든 시기가 다가오고 있습니다.
Don't be naive. There are difficult times ahead.
마지막 때가 다가오면, 사람들이 자기만 알고, 돈을 사랑하고, 으스대고 거만하며,
As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed. money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up,
하나님을 모독하고, 부모를 무시하고, 버릇없이 굴고, 상스럽게 행동하고,
profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse,
죽기 살기로 경쟁하고, 고집을 부리고, 남을 헐뜯고,
dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderered,
난폭하고, 잔혹하고, 남을 비꼬고, 배반하고, 무자비하고,
impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless,
허풍을 떨고, 정욕에 빠지고, 하나님을 몹시 싫어할 것입니다.
bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God.
겉으로는 경건한 척하지만, 그들 속에는 짐승이 들어앉아 있습니다.
They'll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they're animals.
그대는 그러한 자들을 멀리하십시오.
Stay clear of these people.
6-9
저들은 생활이 불안정하고 가난한 여자들 집으로 들어가서, 그럴듯한 말로 꾀어서 그들을 이용합니다. 그러면 그 여자들은 죄에 짓눌린 나머지, "진리"를 자처하는 모든 일시적인 종교적 유행을 받아들입니다.
These are the kind of people who smooth-talk themselves into the homes of unstable and needy women and take advantage of them; women who, depressed by their sinfulness, take up with every new religious fad that calls itself "truth."
그 여자들은 매번 이용당하기만 할 뿐, 실제로는 배우는 것이 하나도 없습니다.
They get exploited every time and never really learn.
저들은 옛적에 모세에게 대항하던 이집트 사기꾼 얀네와 얌브레와 같은 자들입니다.
These men are like those old Egyptian frauds Jannes and Jambres, who challenged Moses.
저들은 믿음에서 낙오한 자들이며, 그릇된 생각을 하고 진리를 무시하는 자들입니다.
They were rejects from the faith, twisted in their thinking, defying truth itself.
최근에 등장한 저 사기꾼들에게서는 아무것도 얻을 것이 없습니다.
But nothing will come of these latest impostors.
사람들이 이집트 사기꾼들을 꿰뚫어 보았듯이, 모든 사람이 저들도 꿰뚫어 볼 것입니다.
Everyone will see through them, just as people saw through that Egyptian hoax.
메시지를 살아 있게 하십시오. | Keep the Message Alive

그대는 나의 훌륭한 제자였습니다. 나의 가르침, 생활방식, 행동지침, 믿음, 끈기, 사랑, 인내, 수고, 고난을 함께했습니다. 그대는 내가 안디옥과 이고니온과 루스드라에서 온갖 불행 가운데 겪어야 했던 고난에도 함께했습니다.
You've been an good apprentice to me, a part of my teaching, my manner of life, direction, faith, steadiness, love, patience, troubles, sufferings - suffering along with me in all the grief I had to put up with in antioch, Iconium, and Lystra.
또한 그대는 하나님께서 나를 건져 주셨다는 것을 잘 알고 있습니다!
And you also well know that God rescued me!
누구든지 그리스도를 위해 살려고 하는 사람은 많은 고난을 겪게 마련입니다. 그 고난을 피할 수 없습니다.
Anyone who wants to live all out for Christ is in for a lot of trouble; there's no getting around it.
파렴치한 사기꾼들은 계속해서 믿음을 이기적으로 이용해 먹을 것입니다.
Unscrupulous con men will continue to to exploit the faith.
저들은 자신들 때문에 길을 잃은 사람들과 같이, 그 자신들도 속아 넘어갈 것입니다.
They're as deceived as the people they lead astray.
저들이 활보하는 한, 사태는 점점 더 악화될 뿐입니다.
As long as they are out there, things can only get worse.
14-17
그러나 저들의 일로 당황하지 말고, 그대가 배워서 믿은 것을 굳게 붙잡으십시오. 그대는 그대를 가르친 스승들의 고상한 성품을 잘 알고 있습니다. 왜 아니겠습니까! 그대는 어머니의 품에서 젖을 먹을 때부터 거룩한 성경을 받아들였으니 말입니다!
But don't let it faze you. Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers - why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother's milk!
그리스도 예수를 믿는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 길을 보여주는 것은, 오직 기록된 하나님의 말씀 외에는 없습니다.
There's nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
성경의 모든 부분에는 하나님의 숨결이 깃들어 있어 모든 면에서 유익합니다. 우리에게 진리를 보여주고, 우리의 반역을 드러내며, 우리의 실수를 바로잡아 주고, 우리를 훈련시켜 하나님의 방식대로 살게 합니다.
Every part of Scripture is God - breathed and useful on way or onother - showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God's way.
우리는 말씀을 통해 온전해지며, 하나님께서 우리를 위해 마련하신 일을 이루어 가게 됩니다.
Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.
