Are you afraid of getting old? Explain why or why not.

No, I am not afraid of getting old. The reason why I am not afraid is that I'm already old enough. If I follow the flow of time, then everything will be O.K. I'm not afraid of getting old. When I was in middle school, my friend and I were usually talking about this statement: "Do women over 40 still want to live? Let's live short and bold(!)"

But when we turned 40, our thoughts changed and realized that there are more things we could still do. We deserve to live even after we turn 40 years old. Now I feel that every year has a special meaning to live. Each age has attractive things about it depending on the person getting older. I expect what will happen in their future age.

How wonderful it is to get older. I don't care how old I am because I will live by just thinking only now, the present time. I don't care about my future or my past, I just care about now, this moment. It will help me get older without getting scared. How wonderful it is to imagine my 70s and 80s and even more. How wonderful life is whatever my age is.

No, I am not afraid of getting old. The reason why I am not (afraid) is that I've(I'm) already gotten(X) old enough. If I follow the flow of time(,) then everything would(will) be O.K. I'm not afraid of getting old. When I was in middle school, me and my friend(my friend and I) were usually talking about that(this statement:) "Do women over 40 still want to live? Let's live short and bold(!)"

그냥 I'm already old라고 하면 되는구나.
요런 걸 that으로 안 쓰고 this statement라고 써준다고?

But when we turned 40, our thoughts have(X) changed and realized that there's(there are) more things we could still do. We are(X) deserve to live even after (we turn) 40 years old. Now I feel that every year has (a) special meaning to live. Each age has the(X) attractive things (about it) according to be(OR: depending on the person) getting older. I expect what will happen in those(their) future age.

복수니까 are
마흔 살 되다를 turn 40 years old로...
관사 붙일 것. a special meaning to live.
관사가 아무 데나 붙는 것 아님. attractive things about it
depending on the person으로 써라...

How wonderful it is to get older. I don't care how old I am because I will live while(by) just thinking only now, the present time. I don't care (about) my future or my past, I just care (about) now, this moment. It will help me to(X) get older without any scaring(getting scared). How wonderful it is to imagine my seventies(70s) and eighties(80s) and even more. How wonderful the(X) life is whatever the(my) age is.

care about
help me 동사 원형이다. to 필요 없다.

Tip:

Other nouns in the subject + “I”

When “I” is included in the subject and there are other nouns, “I” should be on the last part:

My brother and I are hungry.

My wife and I went shopping.
