How much do cell phones typically cost nowadays?

Do you think they are too expensive?

Nowadays cell phones cost about more than 1 million won. I think they are too expensive. However I got as soon as new cell phones are published in the world. The reason why I could get a new cell phone as soon as it comes out is that my son, who knows so well how much I like it, gave me for the present. I like buying new versions of cultural machines such as cell phone, note book, etc. So I'm expecting whenever new one comes out. My son said it's birthday present even though it's not my birthday. Let's see if it's January when the new edition comes out and my birthday is April. At that time he gave me it saying birthday present even though it's very earlier than my real birthday. In this year Samsung galaxy new edition came out but my son didn't buy it to me saying at least 2 years I have to use it. So I'm waiting for the new cell phone which will come out next year. It's very expensive but I think it has such worth.

Nowadays(,) cell phones cost about more than 1 million won. (won in Korea.) I think they are too expensive. However(,) I got as soon as new (get the newest) cell phones are published in the world. (as soon as they are available on the market.) The reason why I could (can) get a new cell phone (OR: one) as soon as it comes out is that my son, who knows so well how much I like it, gave (gives it to) me for the (as a) present.

I like buying (the) new versions of cultural machines (gadgets,) such as cell phone, note book, (phones, notebooks,) etc. So I'm expecting (excited) whenever (a) new one comes out. My (In the past, my) son (always) said it's (that a gadget was a) birthday present even though it's (it was) not my birthday. Let's see if it's (what will happen in) January when the (a) new edition (model) comes out and (out. By the way,) my birthday (birth month) is April.

At that time (In the past, every January to be specific,) he gave me it (the newest gadget) saying (it was a) birthday present even though it's very earlier than(X) my real birthday. (birthday was still far away.) In this (This) year (year, a new) Samsung galaxy new edition (Galaxy unit) came out(,) but my son didn't buy it to (for) me saying at least 2 years (that) I have (had) to use it. (my current phone for at least two years.) So I'm waiting for the new cell phone which (that) will come out next year. It's very expensive(,) but I think it has such worth. (is worth it.)

1. Nowadays

3. However뒤에 콤마!

However, I get the newest cell phones as soon as they are available on the market. 즉 as soon as they are available on the market.

The reason why I can get a new one...

The reason why I can get a new one...

7. 현재형! gives it to me

라고 쓸 때는 for the present 가 아니라 as a present! 외우자. as a present!

9. 정관사! the new versions

푸하하하 어쨌든 외우자. the new versions of gadgets.

11. 복수! phones, notebooks, etc.

I'm excited whenever a new one comes out.

In the past, my son...

14. always 써주고

15. said that a gadget was a birthday present... 그래. said that...

17. 아하 여기 if 대신 what will happen... 아하.

18. 월 앞엔 in. in January

19. a new model...

20. 오호 By the way...

In the past, every January to be specific, 좋았쓰. 하하

23. he gave me the newest gadget saying it was a birthday present...

24. even though my real birthday was still far away. 해서 very earlier than... 이런 식으로 썼는데 요게 아니라 my real birthday was still far away... 요렇게. my real birthday was still far away... 외우자 still far away...

굳이 in this year이라고 쓸 필요가 없어.

26. a new Samsung Galaxy unit

27. but앞에 콤마!

28. buy it to me 가 아니라 for me 구나. 무조건 외우자. buy it for me!

29. saying that I had to use my current phone for at least two years.

30. So I'm waiting for the new cell phone 다음에 which가 아니라 that임을 기억하자.

31. but 앞에 콤마!

32. 하하 가치 있다는 has such worth 가 아니고 it is worth it.

Thank you for completing the writing activity. You are doing a great job. It is great that you take risks in writing and expressing various ideas, especially complex ones. Continue practicing your English skills. Enjoy the rest of your day! :)

NOTE/S:

1. -ed OR -ing

a. The adjective with ~ed tells us about how a person feels about something.

Examples:

Mr. Harrison’s classes are very interesting, and the students are never bored in his classes.

My children are very excited because we will go skiing next weekend for the first time.

b. The adjective with ~ing describes the person or thing that has caused that feeling:

Examples:

Mr. Smith’s classes are very boring and the students are bored when they are in his class.

They think that skiing must be a very exciting activity.

*Remember that people can be boring only if they cause other people to feel bored:

She talks about her neighbors all day. She’s so boring.

*Remember the ~ing form of the adjective (exciting, boring, etc.) has nothing to do with the present continuous verb form.

2. General Number Rule: Spell out whole numbers (as well as ordinal numbers) 0-9 and use figures for numbers 10 and above (examples: zero, one man, five years, 10 boxes, 96 people, 104 books, ninth floor, 15th floor).

0에서 9까지는 숫자 이름 전체를 써줘야 한다. 10 이상은 그냥 숫자를 써주면 된다. zero, one man, five years, 10 boxes, 96 people, 104 books, ninth floor, 15th floor
